Does Josh remind anyone else of the skipper from Gilligan's Island? Sure nice guy and all but in the end he crashes the boat, and leaves everyone stranded and confused? Can you see him hitting one of your district managers on the head with a hat?

Yes She and Josh are ass monkeys kissing the guerillas ass (MM). Products have been written off label for years and the risk of monkeys running the business is low. And besides Papa don’t care. They are make millions for a couple of years then fold. Let’s divest to pay bills so we can get paid our bloated checks stock. After getting stock in the teens for a couple of years you can walk away with something. Think about it. This is all a scam

We are all part of a massive pyramid scheme. We will be sold soon. Bet.

Please do research before posting. Papas comp is based solely on the stock price; if it doesn't go up he is basically working for free. His comp is vastly misunderstood by investors. As the stock price hits milestones his comp starts kicking in and if he gets us back to 260/shr which is highly unlikely he will take home around 800mil. Well deserved if he can pull it off.

Use the google machine, it's not hard to find.

Thank you Anonymous #25 Post for your truly intelligent, positive and correct statement.

I will never understand why people spend so much time on this site, complaining about their “miserable” lives at Salix! If you don’t like it here, you are always more than welcome to leave...Inwould highly encourage you to do so.

The grass is never greener on the “other side”. The new Management Team has done an amazing job of turning things around (In the best way possible) in a very short period of time.

Again...If you are going to continue to spend your time on this site being miserable, and trying to take others with you, PLEASE do Everyone a huge favor and be gone.

Maybe if you spent more time effectively selling the amazing products that you are more than fortunate to have in your bag, and less time being a jerk, you would make an amazing bonus; there has never been a more lucrative bonus plan than what is currently offered by Salix.

People come on here to vent or mess with idiots, you must know that. Don’t take yourself too seriously, it reminds me of Valeant.

I bet you fell into the pyramid scheme and lost your ass on stock. That explains why you’re so invested in this landfill of a company.

Agreed, no one is forcing you to be here. In or out, it is a choice. I don't think this is such a bad deal. If you do your job to the ability you are capable of and expected, you will do well. Why so many beefs?

Question for the group: can someone explain how the addition of 200 reps, high single digit price increases on the portfolio, rising inventory levels in q3 and stronger glumetza, despite your own AG, is only leading to a 3-4% year over year growth for salix?

I will try to. In my opinion it is all of the micromanaging. We are forced to get 10 calls a day here and we are analyzed as to how many signatures we get. In between we get random beatdowns, otherwise known as conference calls, at all hours of the day. All of these things take time away from calling on providers that you have access to and have the ability to move marketshare. In addition all of these things hurt the moral and culture within the sales team and therefore the "heart' of the sales professional becomes more about surviving and less about growing. I am afraid that there is a huge moral issue in all towers and no one in management seems to realize how the bad moral plays a role in the daily numbers.

Most of my colleagues on here with agree with the above and disagree with me. I think most of what is mentioned above are excuses. So do you really think that if we were “left alone” to make multiple calls that we have easy access to / that sales would increase at a much larger rate? The poster mentions the “heart” of sales. To me the heart of sales is $ , and I will do what it takes to do so. Unfortunately most sales co’s have parameters that must be met (# of calls, etc.) it’s that way in almost any type of sales- it’s the nature of the beast.

These can also be seen as an excuse - but there are market dynamics that prevent higher growth - Competitive products, IBS-D (short course of therapy/non-chronic treatment), perception of cost /coverage and no real resources to overcome these, and PA processes - lack of a partnership with a specialty pharmacy. The expansion was needed -but territories are far from ideal for primary care- we need more reps and smaller territories to grow /compete in primary care.

Despite all of this -I will do what I need to do to grow. All of the “noise” is just part of the job. I’ll do what I need to do to make $, and the opportunity here is better than most. Just my thoughts - likely unpopular though.
