As I sit in Starbucks entering my bogus salesforce activity, I wonder how much longer this can go on. There is nothing positive happening here.

Is $40k in commission possible? I don't see how but I am being recruited for an open position and they are saying $75k salary+$40k in variable comp first year? Is the comp plan from $1? Thanks.

No. You are only paid on growth and not on all products. If you are desperate and need a job go for it. Otherwise stay far away.

I just can't see these folks taking business at the street level with Reps who have zero working knowledge of Wound and less than zero relationships. Price will only get you some attention but somebody has to actually know how to do the work! I expect this dedicated team to fail quickly.

Whoa!! I think there are a lot of people with knowledge in wound care (many KCI vets), as well a lot of knowledge in acute care sales.... however the management and lack of intelligent leadership is what will cause the dedicated team to fail.... 4 commission plans in one year in which one is paid strictly on growth, 2 changes in product sales in 8 months, 2 VPS in 8 months, 3 CEO's in past 2 years, and loss/lack of Regional management! It's not the sales reps, I believe they want to make money.... it's the management and focus of corporate that is not only going to run employees away but they will destroy a good product!!!

WAS!!!!! Not anymore, company continues to go downhill after losing so much talent. Blame falls squarely on Guido for creating a sh** show. Look at BSN Linkedin page even when Global VP of HR sends out a message talking about how great things are employees come back at her PUBLICLY!

What does everyone at BSN Medical think of their new owners?

Dec 19 Sweden's SCA said on Monday it had signed a deal with private equity firm EQT to buy German wound care products maker BSN medical for 2.74 billion euros ($2.87 bln).

According to recent comments by sources, EQT had also considered a stock market listing for BSN, whose brands include Leukoplast.

The deal with SCA values BSN at close to 12 times expected 2017 earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of 235 million euros. That compares with a valuation of recently listed peer Convatec of about 14 times expected 2017 core earnings.

The Swedish hygiene products and forestry group said it expected annual synergies of at least 30 million euros, with full effect three years after closing. It added closing was expected during the second quarter of 2017. ($1 = 0.9555 euros) (Reporting by Helena Soderpalm, additional reporting by Maria Sheahan in Frankfurt; Editing by Daniel Dickson)

this is the worst company to work for. No loyalty to their employees. President is a joke. Clinical manager horrible. Sales team incapable of selling their products. I'm surprised they are still a company.

Company has great people and great products. Leadership is lacking. They made a big deal about this bumpkin they brought in from Cardinal as President. What they failed to mention for obvious reasons was he had been fired from Cardinal for performance. He did some good things, he taught us all about ACC Lacrosse and spruced up the office. He also brought in his buddy's wife to a position that was about three levels above her abilities. She is considered a joke in the industry and not just for her wardrobe. Really nice job Todd. You managed to fail at multiple companies.

Comp plan is crap. I calculated my pay after taxes this year and it came out to $28,000 this year.... you can work as hard as you want and close business- you still won't get compensated for it. 15 reps have quit since January. Most reps are leaving this company. I'm losing years off my life working for this company and not making any money.
