How is you lab responding to the PAMA CLFS announcement. I have personally been given 15 lab books since the announcement. I have heard of labs trying to move into different lines of testing- SAMHSA, behavioral health/medicaid, employment, etc. Anything to get revenue into the labs. I have recevied over 20 calls from 1099 reps trying to place samples. The 1099 reps are being outlawed in 2018 by the way! How are your labs going to survive. I you have a legit/compliant lab my company is looking to do a roll up. Post your email and I will reach out to you. So far my company can't find compliant labs though and have walked away form 5 deals this year.

I forgot one more thing in my original post. 80% of all the independent labs in business today will be closed or sold off by the end of 2019 at the latest. Half will be finished by the end of 2018. The cuts are real, the audits are real and the end is near! Give me your emails, my company will buy you!

I am not sure of 80%. The impact will large. More business will go to the biggest labs. However, their margins will suffer too.

You are being more than generous here. 5 months max for most independent labs.
