in the midst of an opioid crisis, is anyone else disturbed by the "great job increasing your OxyContin numbers" emails to the team?

I am still disturbed for the people fired for not selling enough Hysingla at launch. During an opioid crisis and with no coverage, criminal PPLP

Getting pushed by DM to sell opioids, move market share higher. Clueless Purdue, docs are shutting us down.

How about when the Dea started restricting opioids to high abuse areas of the country in 2014 and pharmacies could not get OxyContin and the wholesalers were implementing thresholds for certain pharmacies? The pressure to sell more OxyContin was being pushed and there was no acknowledgement of markets with majorly declining sales due to these thresholds and the Dea cracking down.I personally brought up to my regional my concerns about the pressure to grow the business and these cutbacks and thresholds making it impossible and it was deaf ears! No decrease in goals, barely any acknowledgment of the situation! How do you grow when there is a 30% decrease in opioids being put in place by Dea? Yet they gave bad sales reviews because of it and ultimately gave ratings on reviews that would justify their getting rid of those reps!! So unethical on so many levels !
