Stay far away. They are claiming that they own their own hospital for their HOPD model so they don't have to worrry about the hospital getting audited but they are also trying to get other labs to use them for the testing which would be run on the same hospital's contract. All that testing popping up from out of nowhere will cause red flags in the software used by the insurance carriers to monitor things exactly like this and before you know it they will be getting audited just like many of the other HOPD models. Nothing about this lab is unique enough to switch and if I have heard one lab promose their hospital was exclusive to just their lab I have heard it from EVERY lab and not one of them told the truth.

Life Brite was one of my favorite games as a kid, but those little plastic pegs got scattered all over the place!

Excellent lab. Always paid on time and doctors happy with results. Also, the above poster is wrong. They had a reference lab agreement. Which is legal. It is amazing the amount of BA that comes out of this board. Reference lab arrangements are common practice. That’s why the Mississippi lawsuit is a civil suit and not criminal. BCBS will lose that suit as well.

I’ve heard positive things about Lifebrite from physicians that use their services and other reps. I’ve heard reps get paid on time and physicians get results timely. That’s their MO. The comments listed on this thread are all the negative I’ve heard. Seems like there is always someone looking to talk BS about a competitor. Anything to get ahead I guess.

I found two hospitals named LifeBrite. Are they affiliated? That would make them quite different than an HOPD model.

This is hilarious! IF they pay, you are looking at very low reimbursement rate percentage! I know reps that have worked for this lab, not to mention the low retention rate. Take it for what it's worth.

What a shock, another lab in Atlanta that no one can trust. Like I said I don't think you can trust any in Atlanta.

At Lifebrite? Ask for three months report of reimbursement that should help. As far as recruiter...looks like you got a bad one. Tell them to stop calling and learn to do their job

Recruiter called me about this lab. Was told in network with the big five, 90% adjudication rate, average rep is making $20,000 per month on 5-600 samples, management team leaves you alone to do your job, and unlimited expense account. Can someone provide feedback? Appreciate honest feedback...this is a change that will affect my family
