I have a great Public Relations idea for JNJ. We send a team of JNJ employees to Puerto Rico to help. We can bring tons of JNJ supplies and it will get a lot of great press for the company, especially after all the bad press we've had lately. Let's everybody get on board with this and start bringing it up to management. Demand that we go!

A way to motivate people to volunteer is to give them the time without counting it as vacation and also consider giving anyone who volunteers a kicker on their bonus for going.

If the company is going to allow us to do this, then I want to go where I feel I want to serve my country best: The wildfire areas of California! We should have the choice of where we want to spend our volunteer time!

How long will the volunteer sabbaticals be? Is the company covering airfare and accommodations? Can we do it as a team? My sales team would love to do it together.

Who gets to pick who goes and where? If Janssen sales goes, then anyone who works for J&J should be able to go and should get paid the same, because why should a sales rep get paid their exhorbitant salary for doing the same volunteer job as a secretary? The company better do this fairly or should risk lawsuits.

Just so nobody steals our idea from JBI. This was posted tonight so don't get any ideas about stealing it. It is JBI's only!

Well, you'll think a whole lot differently about the managers when they bring up to senior management this week a plan to send a volunteer team to Puerto Rico. The plan will most possibly include flying a selection of JBI reps to the island on the company private jet, with all amenities covered. It will be a great trip going there with the best of luxury to reward us for our volunteer efforts. We will be put up in the best hotels and our generosity will be rewarded as we help the people there and deliver all kinds of supplies from JNJ. We will also get a free week of vacation for each week we stay there and every rep who is selected to go will automatically be awarded Presidents Club.
This is the proposal and you can't imagine it being turned down. This is amazing public relations for out company and imagine how many doctors will prescribe our products when they know what we did. We will make sure to let all the media outlets know that we did this. Great idea, right? Over the weekend we got tons of agreement from our managers, and now they will pressure senior management to make this a reality. Puerto Rico here we come so gas up the company jet!

Plus they get a bonus kicker for going. We should get something similar.

Alex better not discriminate. I want our volunteer team to go to California to help with the wildfires.

JBI is a great part time gig. I just might sign up for the Puerto Rico trip. That bonus kicker will be sweet!

Great company would love to be part of the culture. Too bad the recruiting team doesn't reimburse candidates for mileage to interviews. Inexcusable for a multi-billion dollar company. Thanks.

You just want to be on the corporate jet when we go to PR. Sorry, JBI reps only. You need to earn it.

This is how we should all be thinking.
