Just hang in there for a bit longer. I waited for the Abbott package. It took two years but I got nine months and retired on the tenth month. Patience, Abbott moves slow.

Pediatric Nutrition has always been a hot mess. They need to clean out the whole house and start over.

not true in the adult side. Many open rep positions, no medical director and some senior manager positions open.

While it is true that Asia continues to be a problem, U.S. is very strong. Abbott is firing on all cylinders and the stock price will reflect this in 2018. $65-$72 will be the range for 2018

Any news on what will be happening on the adult side? Outpatient seems to be struggling. More and more vacancies and it doesn't appear any are being filled. Competition is getting stiffer and Abbott doesn't seems to be innovating in a consumer driven/price driven market. Wondering how much longer they will be around for.

Everything you said is true. Unfortunately the VP of Sales is a real tool. Afraid to make any changes in this market. Miles isn 't happy and wants changes asap.

It seems like there will always be a need for Acute care reps. I don't think anyone knows what the plan is for outpatient as their main job is to drive retail sales yet it's decreasing. You can't sell a product to healthcare professionals without clinical data backing it. Guessing major changes to come.

Yes major changes to come. Adult nutrition is moving to a consumer goods division not science based. Outpatient reps to be gone by Feb 2018. The good ones will fill regional outpatient roles
