    Was it a solid cup? A 3, 5 or 7 hole cup?

Why? So you can go over what was reported recently and find me? Fuck off. All reps just keep an eye on your cups.

Sounds like you need to call the police.

No I’m working on my own theory. Maude won’t show hole number just brand name so you are safe. I need hole number and head size if you can?

Sounds like he hit a nerve and you got mad. By the true stryker responses to this it definetly looks like a problem here.

Solid 357 hole cup, thank you. I'm in Philadelphia...Mississippi.

I'm surprised the lawyers haven't jumped on this

The only titanium cup issue you have is the one protecting your lil pee wee balls that shrunk from steroid abuse. Hope it was worth it.

Stryker hip and depuy knee lawsuit commercials on all the time, do you not have TV?

We had a fun one last week. Two years out and the cup had slipped completely vertical, cutting through one screw in the process.

Fascinating. I was talking to my manager last week about one of our surgeons that had some concerns. Promptly received a 15 minute lecture about how I wasn’t doing my job (I’m up 8% on joints for the year) and that I needed to stop bothering him with noncense questions. Tuesday afternoon the same surgeon sent me a pic of another cup that’s spun out....

Careful, they are out to shut people up about this. Quit asking questions unless you are recording as your days are probably numbered now. Time to look out for yourself.

Too many people are already talking about it. I thought it was great when a DePuy lawsuit commercial came on in the lounge the other day until it was followed up with a Stryker Hip commercial... I was told to tell people it's a surgical technique problem, which is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.

The irony is we’re being told to show our docs the registry data, which seems to show our cups are in line with everyone else. At the same time we’re also being told to everyone that the Attune registry data (which shows Attune is in line with everyone else) isn’t to be believed.

Bottom line is you can’t just regurgitate everything our managers or corporate tell you and just use a little common sense. I truly don’t know if our cups have a problem or not. We do revise more than I’d like and it’s a little disconcerting to remove a cup with little ingrowth that was well positioned initially by competent surgeons.

If there is no problem with the current cup, why are we coming out with the Tritanium 2?

One of my bigger surgeons came back fro AAHKS concerned. Apparently there was some discussion with another Stryker surgeon about some of his patients with vague 'joint pain' and radiolucent lines around a few cups.

This. Stryker surgeons are talking between groups about this also. Have half my surgeons asking me about this now. Word is spreading through them without competition interference.

Every other company seems to have a cup with good long term clinical data behind it, why the hell is this such a problem for us? We're seriously coming out with an updated tritanium cup? Can't wait to hear how Stryker try's to spin this.
