H8 2 br8k it 2u, that job has a lead candidate, a Celgene rep with a PharmD. Not sure why a PharmD wants a biotech sales position maybe things are bad at Celgene too. My job searches have led to a dead end and unreturned phone calls.

Getting into Amgen is extremely difficult, found out they just hired a Neuro sales team and for 105 external positions posted they had over 10,000 qualified applicants.
Enbrel shouldn't be as bad but still tough, good luck.

it is a nasty big pharma-esque corporate environment over there...trust me on that one...

if you think the world's biggest biotech is going to be your career savior, you are misguided
at best, or in denial at worst.

I'll take my chances with a company with only 19k employees and 41 billion cash on hand vs. Merck who has 70k employees and 24 billion cash.

I have two REP friends who joined at 140k salary, both earned 55k bonus and reps get restricted stock units and drive around in luxury fleet cars. Add in 10% 401k match and a dot com environment, I'm sold.

Sales/marketing managers really rake in the dough most easily hauling in 250k plus all day long.
