And this is why you have no idea since you are not in it. If you were, you would know it is totally different. Most biotech’s are small/start up.

I didn't say the size or what period they are in.. now did I? But if you are in sales...you will basically be asked to do everything you are doing now...no difference. What do you think will be so different in making calls day to day???

Regardless, .0001 of our displaced PC reps/hospital reps will ever land in biotech. Way too competitive and Merck staff don't have the skills, don't give reps false hope, they should be looking at Inventiv, Starbucks, Home Depot, etc.

You are so full of shit. Biotech is simply a new dress put on the old prostitute. It may sound sexier, but it’s sos all the way and gives the companies a way to charge more for their products.
You may think you’re something special, but you’re not.
The biotech companies say they don’t want pharma people because we know how the silly game they call sales works. If the rep knows the contacts they want to reach, they’ll be hired. If not, they’ll find a someone who buys the bs of how special the product and the rep is. 3-6 mos later, the fraud and fantasy is revealed.

Why are you delislinger dipshi#ts debating the merits of biotech? You should be applying for lumber aisle positions at Home Depot. Can't wait till we rid you phucks in December.

I just purchased a nationwide franchise and am looking to hire in all states - company truck provided. Scoop n Poop routes, work your own hours. Must like pets! Great opportunity for fired delislingers.

At least it would be more honorable than lying about my 8 calls every day.

Shhhhhhhh….. That's a big secret around here (whispering). No one can talk about that. We ALL get AT LEAST eight calls per day, every day. We earn our money by working so very, very hard.

I'd say that's funny, but it's really more pathetic than it is funny. Full grown people pretending to be salespeople. Pathetic.

I've never in my 22 years here, seen the amount of firings for faking calls in the last year.
Merck is cracking down and many folks lives were ruined for lying and cheating.
I'm with Mother Merck on this one.

If the mommy club was smart they would start accusing every DM/Regional of Sexual Harassment seems now a days all a woman has to do is point a finger and say he did it and presto! DM/RM is fired and their job is saved.

IF the company lived up to its values, they would honestly investigate and guilty DM or RM would be held accountable. HOWEVER, because MERCK could be held accountable for guilty bad boy managers, is it just as likely deep pocket legal would make MOMMY pay for sins of bad boy boss? Hmmmm......let’s hope Merck lives by the beautiful words written in policy for any women or men who are victims.

Cry me a river. This is a load of sh!t. All of these accusations have no merit. This whole "I was harassed" is nothing more than people wanting to make money but destroying a person with lies. It's such a joke. If anything it's a victimless crime. The only true victim are the people who gets fired from the false accusations.
I would fully support these accusations if someone said this happened yesterday or last week. It's something happened 15 years ago. The another would pile on and say "me too" 20 years ago. Why talk about it now? If it was really a big deal those accusations would have came out after it happened.

This is about something was consensual, both parties benefit from what happened. Then many years later when the person is no longer desirable, they make some bullish!t lie to get something.
There are no victims and the person who is at fault is the accuser. These things don't even make it to court. No one is in jail. No one really cares. The best you can do is shut your mouth and move on. Don't play the victim card. Also don't ask for it.
