Shock by e-mail. You may have a job or you may not. Now we will have training during the holidays? Why do pharma companies ALWAYS ruin the holidays? Why could we not wait until January to do the training? Is it really a crisis? Are sales so bad that we can not wait a few more weeks before putting us through training?

Lol it’s too cheap for Arbor to pass up. They got double discounts for renting the hotel during holidays

It would be interesting to know how long those rooms have been booked, wouldn't it?

On CV side here, but you have to go away for training for 3 weeks? If so what torture!

Basically 2 weeks of home study and 1 week in Atlanta before we are done with training.

And...all of the studying, testing, background on our products and the competition has to happen during a time when we're asked to FINISH STRONG with Horizant! I'm sure that our baselines won't be reduced. Watch out for the Gralise reps to capitalize on our distraction. Everybody better get their Christmas shopping and decorating done early, because there won't be time after Nov. 27.

Yes and expect us to do it on our personal time. Watch the numbers drop real fast!

Work overtime for no extra pay? I don't think so!

Are they really making you all do the training outside working hours? How can they enforce that?

We are salaried. They can't enforce it, but they will try.

    That is the Arbor way

Just funny how the email was phrased too. Saying training should be done "outside of working hours". Doesn't that make them working hours?

For anyone who is considering joining this company, take note! They are expecting us to work "on our own time" for NO EXTRA PAY. If you can't see that they do not believe in work life balance, then you are blind.

It's too bad we can't roll over our vacation time. We can't really take a full week off any of those 3 weeks without it being interupted by WebExs or going to Atlanta.

ES considers breathing working because he is feeding his pet that lives on his head.

I have been documenting everything and that email has a big red flag on it!
