And how many more will be eliminated as we "right size"?

Not enough. We are all stumbling over one another and are annoying customers more than ever! Lilly had better cut reps before we are kicked out of every office. We are our own worse enemy. More is not better.

Pruyne reportedly took the VERP. No loss - very much an old school guy.

Understanding the continuity of disease state management, wouldn’t it make sense that the DBU sell the whole portfolio based on the physicians prescribing preferences?

Smart Man, yes old school but very very good. All managers male over 50 that didn’t take the VERP and are trying to hang on, will not be with Lilly 1 year from today and almost All will be gone by this January 2nd. Everyone that was a success like RP will be eliminated.

I could have stayed and worked another 2 years but why would I?

Wayne K in New England took the VERP. Oh yeah, he just missed it! LOL! Great to see karma first hand. Wayne K got exactly what he deserved, NOTHING - no extra 6 points for retirement or no extra 2 years severance pay. Karma is a bitch and is alive and well. It’s encouraging to witness it first hand. It could not have been given to a more deserving person!

Possibly true, but 1) you were a diverse employee. 2) you were extremely successful and you need to thank the experienced manager for all he did for you. Admit it he was awesome and did things the right way.

Yes but this is why Lilly’s is the shits they have gotten rid of all the awesome prynes within Lilly and to succeed in the next 10 years just too much has been lost. Thanks RP for all the support you gave me and your team you were the best manager and master performer Lilly has ever had. I also appreciate the raises you always got for us. U the man$$

Thanks RP but we all know the truth. You are a rule bound disaster who didn't help any of us develop our skills. Of course under your feeble coaching, we do know "the message" backwards and forwards.

RP has been one of the most overrated sales managers in the last 25 years of Lilly.

His record for hiring sales reps is extremely poor.

BSif that we’re the case we wouldn’t have made quota so many years and what about the fact RP was is a master performer soooo many years in a row
