In response to someone posting Baxaltas purchase price and Shire's valuation this was a response... found it to be funny, sad, and true... would Flem have an answer for it?
Just because our idiot CEO and the morons working next to him paid $32 billion for Baxalta does not mean it was valued at $32 billion. To put it in perspective it is like going car shopping and buying a Ford fusion that is worth $25,000 but getting told by the car salesman that it is really worth $10 million and you say I will give you $9 million and you are dumb enough to think you got a good deal while everyone else is laughing at you. That is our loser CEO on more than one occasion. Now he is trying to follow Baxter/Baxalta playbook and spin us off but he doesn't realize there are not other CEO's as dumb and/or incompetent out there who will overpay for a company the way he loves doing. He either has to sell us cheap or plug his nose and hold onto us... what's it going to be Flem?

Wall Street sees clearly that Fleming and his Board were completely snookered by Baxalta. We are all now experiencing the consequences - desperation and panic here to make numbers rather than grow the company, and anyone with talent leaving long ago. The best part is seeing the former Baxalta CEO land the top job at Alexion - he is laughing all the way to the bank and we are stuck with these naive losers.

The answer that question is simple. I will continue to ruin the once great and respected company Shire and get paid millions of dollars to do it.

If our CEO is that bad be a big boy or girl and interview for and take another job... i agree he is awful and not good at what he does but i don't have to deal with him ever in sales. he isn't going anywhere so if he is ruining your life maybe you should go somewhere in order to be happy

You obliviously aren’t in sales or pretty much suck. Our entire structure is driven by FO and his low-talent cronies. And it’s a bit infantile to suggest the only path is to get a new job - many companies (the good ones) solicit genuine feedback from employees to empower them and seek to improve performance. Maybe if you had some actual experience you’d know that.

Flem has the bull by the horns, and he's not letting go. We are ready to dump OBU and NBU. Good Riddance !

As long as he thanks us for providing the money so he could make his terrible acquisitions and then keeps his dirty hands off us once he dumps us we will be happy... we deserve the thank you though

It's official... according to several publications our CEO IS the worst in the industry... honest question...is it possible for a Bad CEO to turn into a good one? I would like for that to happen but am skeptical.

I don't need a publication to tell me our CEO is the worst. I see it on a daily basis

It’s not like this has been his first failure. He has a consistent pattern of poor performance. The difference here is that the Shire Board is less competent and more spineless that the other Boards who have jettisoned this loser as soon as the stink started.

It's Official! Industry experts rate Shire Sales Force worst in the industry! They cite poor selling skills, sloppy attire, lack of grooming, deceptive sales call reporting, and plain laziness. That's the facts, Jack!

I saw that too. This sales team is blaming Flem, when in all reality, the problem lies in sales ?

maybe blame lies in some of the sales teams of the horrible purchases flemming made... The Salesforce he inherited has about 500 reps and does over 2.5 billion dollars a year and sells the third most written branded product in the United States. You do the math. I think that Salesforce is doing quite well. That Salesforce earned the Cash 4 our CEO to purchase these disasters Go back to your desk and pretend like you are working... how much money do you bring into this company answering three phone calls a day and pretending to be brainstorming ideas for our next marketing piece that we used to start our fires with now that it's cold

Indeed the sales force is the weakest link not Flem.

The leader should set the standards for the sales force.
Flem certainly does not do that.
The blame game never solves nor improved anything. Someone needs to step up and become accountable for the good, bad. and ugly of this company. The big bucks are payed to Flem and his cronies.it needs to start there.
Third class leaders usually have third class employees.

Hey, Flem, take a good look at yourself. You will find that you are in serious denial. You love the credit, but refuse to acknowledge your blame.
