I could not agree more. Typical former pharma, former unsuccessful rep, tired of carrying a bag manager. His region has gone to shit and he still thinks he is a bad ass. LOL. This is how you know this statement is true. Why would any successful rep take a pay cut to be a manager without at least one of those 2 statements being true. Oh, one other reason is that your ability to ride a guarantee is running out. Either way, that is the story of most CRM managers. John for sure.

Whatever, Jon is a great person and manager. Pitiful someone would attack anyone on this board. Take your frustration out another way.

Girvin in Pittsburgh, no DOUBT about it. The constant lies, customers hate him, pits people against each other, mangles every RFP he touches, everything is a secret which he keeps all to himself. The "cherry on the sundae" is that he holds a conference call this morning and cries because he says the region is over budget even after he RIF's 2 headcount last year. I guess he didn't get the bonus he hoped for while the rest of us are forced to report to him. What a joke!

So true, so true. He is a clown. Wait, sorry, that's an insult to all the hardworking clowns in the world. When will someone understand how truly ill equipped he is to be an RM?

He is a true leader and successful at every turn. He is responsible for getting us UPMC! You must be a rep he demoted or fired. If it's the latter, good riddance!

You insane? He's about the nicest guy you could meet and a solid leader.

Are you naive? Nice, only to get what he wants. Social butterfly. Beware if you don’t fit in his box. “Solid leader,” really? What has he led? He led an initiative to kiss McGrail’s a** for years so he could be moved into RM position. That’s about it. Everything has been handed to or manipulated on behalf of him for his own advancement. End of story.

What would you suggest Dr. Phil? Yoga? Don’t demean and discount someone’s feelings just because you don’t agree with it. It’s not “pitiful,” it’s truthful to them. Truth hurts sometimes.

Are you naive? Nice,....no just manipulative in order to get what he wants. “Solid leader,” what has he led? He led an initiative to kiss McGrail’s a** in order to position himself for RM position. Every move is calculated, don’t believe the hype. Knew him very well in Columbia. While you’re at it, have him try and explain integrated bipolar lead technology to you sometime. Great leaders have great minds. He’s not in that category.

“True leader,” and “Successful at every turn?” Nice. Just wait young blood, be careful who you back. Someone will come along and screw your career ladder up, then you’ll be on here as well showing disdain for them. Don’t be naive.

If you think caring about integrated or dedicated lead technology is important for a manager you have show how stupid you are.

You’ve missed the point completely moron. It is not important for a manager to know (however young blood it was an important selling point for shock leads in the Guidant days, when you were probably popping zits still and sniffing your armpits), but I digress. The point is, such a basic and rudimentary technological concept is a challenge for those with a brain the size of a pea. Over your head....
