Now we have managers wanting to bash their reps. Well, go ahead, lets see what you think.

This thread absolutely reveals the real problems here. One might expect a disgruntled Rep to start a thread about worst managers, but when Managers actually start a thread like this we have a huge problem!

I think about 80-90% of the managers at TN are totally incompetent. They could not get a job at any other company. It has been the Ole Boys and Girls Club to get promoted for years here. We have lost all of our best Reps to competitors that would have made much better Managers than any of our current Managers. Teva just sits idely by and watches. The end of this company isn’t too far off.

RL from west and BN from mid west. Two underperformers who drag us down.

I absolutely agree with you. Excellence starts at the top. If managers are doing things like this, they re bad coaches. Morale on their teams must be incredibly low. Managers are supposed to inspire, and scaffold growth. For them to start a thread like this is beyond repulsive.

Who the worst rep is?? -- the answer depends on who is answering the question. The lame Irishman Vice would likely have a different answer than a tenured rep in Colorado who simply loves to sell, hunkering down doing the job with integrity. If you actually pretend to be inspired by those tired (and pointless) sports analogies used by the vice to inspire the "team"- well... you are likely one of "best" reps according to some standards-- throwing back the cocktails with the corporate hacks at the bar even tho your numbers consistently, year after year, fall short. oh-- and god help you if criticize anything coming out of the home office, no matter how constructive or even with the best of intentions. In short order ride alongs are frequent and the paper trail in your file has begun. And they'll make it up if they have to.... Heck-- your manager will do whatever they tell him, because he knows what happens if he doesnt . IF you don't sell your soul, you may be selling your house. NOT a fun choice.. and not one anyone should have to make. Sad. In the end, I think most of us reps are pretty dang good at what we do --- and we are decent people. But under years of this poor "leadership"- we have not been "selling- we have been following laughable and often plain bad orders from people who long ago should have been shown the door.

TN is coasting for cash as they have been for years. They don't have to sell Copaxone, it's been around for years. They aren't making any impact with Austedo for HD but they will get an expansion and a huge bonus while TP's goals are way too high and no mention of correcting them. They have no plan to compensate anyone but TN. If you are still caring about selling for TD, with this set of goals, you must enjoy getting nothing for your efforts. Email after email about our numbers so far with no mention of correcting the goals. No one cares at this point.

Have you consideed that it is by design --ensuring the TP sales force is unhappy and one by one, finds other employment. Sure fire and simple way to do that is to screw reps on bonus payouts. They know the reps can't /won't do anything about it-- Look--- they did it with the Amrix payouts in the months leading up to the early 2017 reductions in force. ventrella was so late in the game getting approval, Zecuity not only was a failed launch, it was pulled and it's now a big liability on the balance sheet given the pending class action lawsuits.. so what did they do-- let attrition take its course if a rep left--they typically did not fill it. What that does is obvious--- less head count to deal with, less people to lay off, less severance package expenses, less legal risks. The favoritism toward TN has been there from the start. I don't know if this is definitely the case here now, but it's a common play on pharma row. This company is just especially brutal. But if my kid needed their wisdom teeth taken out or my wife needed her bunion corrected... think about doing that now.

Agreed. And look out for yourself. Even if secure job right away- at new employer not eligible for FMLA leave until you put in about 7-8 months of work. And leave might not be paid. Plan ahead- count on staying healthy, or take care things now.

You're so right. TN doesn't make any money for Teva. It's all the super talented TP reps who keep this company going said no one ever. Get a life loser.

Copaxone has historically made lots of money but the reps have not had to sell the product in ages. Copaxone is slowly going down. The TN reps do not sell it. They barely sell in HD or TD either, but they will be paid well no matter what while TP will not make any money.

Management should get rid of the TN reps. Get some new blood in their so they can actually sell something.
