Firing salespeople in advance of the November 6th FDA non-announcement?! Wet Towel Greg must be speeding up the wind-down! Steal a stapler on the way out.

Keryx doesn't have downsizings. They have Terminations!

Did Butler leave the BoD for any other reason than to preserve his reputation from this mess? Stock has been acting even more pathetic than usual since his departure.

It’s not just the West. The manager in Carolina who seemed untouchable was fired. There are currently 3 districts without a manger. Way to go Keryx!

If the manager of the #1 team gets canned without warning and less than a month before a launch then no one is safe.

Theories as to why so many producing reps/district managers are being let go before the launch?

This company gets off on firing people. Doesn’t make sense considering how expensive on boarding people is. There is no need to entertain “theories”. It doesn’t take much at Keryx. If they don’t like you; you’re toast.

Yeah, um....NOPE. Sanofi throwaway rent-a-rep here. We got the notice we are to transform our sales force in 2018 and launch our own authorized generic. So, we're fucked. And with 3 generic sevelamers on the market now, I'd say you are, too. Spruce up those resumes and good luck to you.

I would say the above post is accurate. With generic Sevelamer blanketing the market including one from Sanofi, Auryxia will have a hard time with coverage. I sold in a different market under same circumstances and it was a bear. Generic will always trump brand ALWAYS

This may be true for new patients. But the majority of dialysis patients who need a binder have already tried sevelemer. If they switched due to tolerability, generic wont be a threat

I think the issue will IDA and who will pay for it? Keryx thinks that not requiring a PA makes Auryxia accessable for patients. That’s not the case. Affordability is what make Auryxia accessable for patients, and they can’t afford it.

    That'll help with morale.

Will anyone kick the tires more seriously now with the expanded indication?

That’s cute!! No. No one cares. The window for a company buying us closed in March 2017. Madison and his cronies are idiots. Get OUT of here quickly.

What was the significance of March?

Another one bites the dust. No one is safe in the Tony regime. Average lifespan in Keryx sales is 1 year. It’s very motivating.

NOPE. You obviously don't work in this market. Generic binders are extremely expensive and insurance coverage is extremely poor. Keryx has nothing to worry about when it comes to generic Sevelamer.
