WH Layoffs...anyone have a clue what they might do? Not sure how much bigger our territories can get. Maybe whiptespacing areas? Not eliminating SHRs?

Going on 2 weeks with no new info on our cuts. Everyone is interviewing for Xeljanz it seems like. Wonder when we will find out more info. The waiting part is the worst. Especially when they give such vague timelines. But be sure to stay focused though everyone! Ugh

Look at the beginning of this thread. We are getting absorbed into Oncology or other items stated about how great this division is. Never trust these BS rumors!!! If your division is not growing enough sales, look out for another job.

This company loves to tell us false promises to keep us working then they yank the rug from under us. Merry Christmas!!!

So little quality information for this layoff. The rumor mill just spirals out of control when we are left in the dark about stuff and given such a long time frame before we are notified. I would rather they just rip the band aid off and tell us already.

Sorry to disappoint you but there will be no layoffs in Women's health!!!!! Please rest assured that you are all safe and will be surprised by the plans that will be coming in the first half of 2018. This information is from a very well respected Vp from NY!!! Great things are coming for Pfizer. If we reduce our sales force anymore, all we will have is middle management. They are very keen on having underlings to justify their huge salaries and jobs!!!!

I have heard the same thing from my DM. He claims that we will be good moving forward. Our franchise, though declining is too valuable to leave unattended.

The wish by those of us who have a lot of time is please lay us off!!!! We can then collect a huge severance before going on pension. If you look at the reality of this job, we are dead in the water. Our only goal is to stop the bleed and we have not done a very good job of it! Once the new generics come out, it will be all over and everyone knows it. Upper management in this division is just trying to protect their jobs. Most reps are doing very little and faking calls, especially SHR's. Lets get it done and end this fiasco. Give it back to Publicis because they did a better job than Legacy Pfizer. It's the truth and you all know it!!!!

Cuts will be deep!!! You are looking at 35 to 50%!!! Good luck to all!!! I wish there was a way for those who want to be layoff to volunteer. It would make it so much easier on the rest of us!!! Dump the DBM's, they offer no value!

Not sure if this is the right place to share, but I feel like I need to get something off my chest, so, here it goes:

    I have two dicks

Wrong. You have 3. You forget the fact that you “are” a dick as well. 1 dick, having 2 dicks = 3 dicks.

That is exactly the reason why I will take December off and FAKE all my calls. My DM is an idiot and has no
idea of what we are confronted with everyday. I'm relatively new and I work with a bunch of old biddies who are prima donnas. Get rid of them first. The younger people are still eager to do this job, the old bags just complain and milk it! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

It is true that we its much tenure want to be released so we can collect the severance and then file for a pension but Pfizer will not let us go because we are selling machines. Unfortunately the young kids they have hired just don't know how to sell or don't have it in them to sell. It's a skill that is second nature to us who are very experienced. Yes Pfizer would be doing us a huge favor if they played us off but it just won't happen. It will last hired, first fired! All factual information for you to ponder!

Pfizer is treating Women’s Health reps horribly by announcing layoffs but waiting over 2 months to say who goes and who doesn’t. It’s a slap in the face to start a contest this week, but you can’t collect if you’re let go. There still isn’t a date as to when we will be notified either, but it will be “before Christmas.” How thoughtful.... just let everyone know. Those staying can put 100% and those let go can look for other opportunities.

Exactly!! And the contest is just flat out dumb. Just tell us already and then have some type of retension bonus contest or something for those of us that are left. Based on actually freakin numbers and not busy work and motivational BS.

You work at pfizer and don't already fake most/all of your calls eh?

you have no worries!!! Yes there will be a layoff in Women's health but you won't be ;ayed off from Pfizer. The vast majority of reps will find spots in other areas of the company. Good things will be happening in Women's health in 2018. You can expect a reduction, albeit small maybe 15% but they will expand again in late 2018 or early 2019. Women's health is so coveted by other companies and Pfizer will do everything it can to build upon its legacy. Good things are coming, just wait!!
