It is hard to figure out the true direction of this company. The mistakes were quaint at first but getting old. We can do the math and see that the number of devices sold does not pay for our salaries and bringing on outdated drugs with terrible fomulary coverage won't work for very long. The overnight metrics that popped up make it seem like ownership/management want good call averages to make us look good in order to be sold. Don't get me wrong, the device is fantastic and the science is incredible but unfortunately all doc's want to talk about is reimbursement and a practice just isn't going to do much better than break even by the time a practice manager figures in the time spent hunting down reimbursement dollars.

I don't think they're planning on selling. The metrics were put in place overnight because Circassia sold their soul to AZ to pay for the expansion and AZ culture butts heads w Circassia's laid-back culture of screw the metrics, just get the business. Most legacy reps already looking to get out. Recent hires are used to the bullshit game of metrics.

NEVER do you want to accept a job that does not provide you with a corporate card for your expenses! This is a nightmare scenario having to use your own card for expenses. Yes, some will tell you that they like using their own card because they get "points", however once your card is maxed out from all the lunches and coffee runs you've expensed, and you've been waiting weeks for your expense reports to be approved (and the funds deposited into your account so you can pay your credit card bill), you will see how shitty a situation this truly is. I've experienced this situation with another company and it's something I will never again accept. If the company will not supply a corporate card for expenses, then that's a deal breaker and I will not accept an offer and join that company.

What is the interview process like - how many interviews? This is a direct-hire, I was not contacted by a recruiter.

    Thanks!

It’s total chaos here so if you can put up with micromanagement and changing focus all the time, have at it. Some people have had five interviews so I’m have had two, there is no consistency

This is the least micromanaging I've ever experienced in pharma. Big deal if we have a couple of metrics to hit - what company doesn't?
