Happened on Wil's watch...he hasn't learned much since. https://www.law360.com/articles/880353/zimmer-biomet-to-pay-30m-for-breaching-fcpa-deal
Every response on here is from Wil. Hell, he probably posed the original question. Lol. Truth be told, he's a great guy. Why are you asking?
Depends on how you know him and what side of the fence you are on. I had heard nothing but positive things about him, but some different colors showed up during the ZB merger. Too good for collaboration, smarter than everyone else and obviously Biomet loyal...maybe to a fault. He had a chance to do great things and make real change, but instead wore blinders and wanted to pretend his new role was like the old Biomet Sports Med gig....it wasn't and his lack of ability or desire to adapt to a new corporate culture made him miserable and proved to be end-game at ZB. Like I said earlier, it all depends on personal experience. His brand is clearly strong...especially on the Biomet board, but my experience wasn't as awesome....fake is tough to overcome.
What is the purpose of these postings about Wil? He's gone and and has no impact on anyone or anything at ZB. My close personal contact is the he was a real professional, skilled manager and a good guy. In my opinion its ZB's loss that he is gone.
