This company is tacky and trashy. They aren’t paying us for our sick leave and it’s only 4 weeks severance? Then PS laughs when somebody asks him a question yesterday. Really? How incredibly tasteless. The Collegium thread said it perfectly. Depomed is a garbage company.

 

We are getting more then 4 weeks! They gave us a 2 month notice (last day is feb 5). Most companies cut u immediately. On top of the 2 month notice , they are paying your bonus at a minimum of 100%. Also u can qualify for an exta $4k (we r waiting to hear the activity required for that. Also U get an additional week per year of service.

 

Unbelievable. Ron had us focus on primary care which was a bad choice. They over hired which they haven't recovered from so they shit can us. Bunch of executive morons can't make a good decision to save their lives and we can canned as a result. Can't wait for PS and fat bastard to get canned/replaced by the starboard. Especially PS, has done nothing. At the end of the year when his contract is done he'll be gone.

An investment group bought 10% of Depomed at $14.86 , that now own 8.7%, flipped the board and let go every one in senior management. You may want to read the SEC filings to get the data on how much was given away in severance. As the price hit a -50% return on investment, this VC group made a decision to do a fire sale. Stock is up and they may just break even in 2018. This is simple investment strategy and nothing personal which is the flaw when good people are let go.

Under the WARN ACT of 1988, they have to give 60 calendar day notice of layoff if over 100 employees.
It wasn't a nice gesture, we could have sued their ass if they didn't give us this 60 day warning period.
