    India has the finest IT techs. Outsource there and the help desk will flow faster and smoother.

    Yes. This is what is happening. More roles are becoming global so it is like musical chairs on OUS spots.

    Meadows is gone after 12/31. He's been recruited to Whirlpool.

    Should we update this to “IT extermination 2018”? Can anyone reveal actual details?

    Obviously more cuts will continue in IT. That pattern will not let up. They didn't get all the numbers they were really after in December.

    The upcoming expansion of Salesforce and Veeva will eliminate the need for a lot of Lilly IT folks.

    Not to mention Infosys in town now killing off the rest of the IT market for Hoosiers.

    Lilly will always need well-paid, old, white men to manage those talented, low-wage IT geeks.
