They wouldn't have such a program unless there were candidates willing to get their foot in the door via free labor. Wonder if minimum wage laws probably make this illegal in most states?

...all of this is systemic of much larger set of problems.

First of all, Memphis is doing great. Say what you want about the people running it, but we're outperforming the competition in a tough market. Secondly, yes the rep mentioned is a thief in my mind. But his numbers are some of the best in the distributorship and his surgeon's love him, so what would you do with him?

Outperforming the competition translated: We are missing our quota but we are the skinniest fat kid in the room.

As for the thief, maybe his numbers are good because he is what you say he is, a thief.

What do you do in this situation? Establish a standard and don't deviate from it. Unfortunately the standard in place currently is rather low.

Do you all sit around and talk about your ex girlfriends in chat rooms too? A lot of venom being spewed on this thread from people with very little knowledge of the goings on or individuals with very little self awareness; who can't dig deep enough to realize this wasn't the right situation for them. Enjoy your new career and prosper. Best way to show up your old distributor is to perform elsewhere. Don't talk about working in Memphis just because it would incriminate you too much to say your real territory name. None of you worked in MEMPHIS. The more you sit around complaining the better. We have grown 100%, 15%, and 35% YTD in your previous territories. We hit quota 3 of 4 years overall, but no...Not in EVERY category. Cant make everyone happy and won't sacrifice the culture for a few selfish individuals stuck in 2005. But hey... it's flattering you all still spend so much time thinking about us.

Agreed. The earlier statements reveal their insecurities. Deep down they know they are working for an amateur.

What exactly is the culture you would be sacrificing? Judging by the link provided in earlier posts the culture isn't one that most would aspire to maintain.

    "Arthrex culture"? What an oxymoron.

JB is a pussy if he doesn't fire him. FYI. JB has interviewed a number of people include PB's butt buddy in Charleston and his golden girl in Columbia.

The culture at Arthrex is not terrible. There are many great people that are affiliated with the company. Unfortunately there are folks in the distribution arm that are corrupt. If Arthrex is too blame for any of these situations, it's that they create distance from the parent company and the distribution. This may be by design. As fast as they are to market with their technology, it's amazing how slow they are to making distribution changes. They wait so long to make a change that when they finally do irreparable harm has been done.

The "porn star" better tighten up. Some of his boys are working a side hustle with some competitive products.

    Memphis reps: subpar

Starkville: heard it yourself on here they even know their rep is fraud, but he brings business so its ok even after he has been ejected from hospitals for throwing new product away and selling them restocking orders to hit his number...
Tupelo: the described person above is also the son of the head anesthesiologist at that account who might I add has a fairly large interest in their surgery center where the guy works. No conflict of interest there?
Memphis: is subpar, and stays subpar because they've cheated everyone in town
West TN: the bossman fires two highly motivated and successful reps and now ended up turning the town on himself to lose video and one major account
Oxford: fires a rep who makes quota 6 out of 6 times without cheating bc he "mismanaged the drug dealer in Tupelo"
KY: hires the son of Foot and Ankle surgeon in Memphis to be the Arthrex rep in KY, satisfies two birds with one stone. Gives the doc's brother a job, and grows his business…hopefully right? Not after their most recent loss….

    Distributor: …...…..you be the judge.
