Now we can really enjoy the holidays with this hanging out there.

BTW... Brent/Bill.Jerry... when you remove a bandaid, I bet you guys do it really, really, really slowly.

Better to have clarity and move on.

Fuck these people. Having a layoff in the works has been going on for longer than we know. By having everyone wait on them to announce the cuts shows their heartless insides. Carcasses with no regard. 6 job openings where I live enough said. Fuck you, Jerry, total BS and Bill Muffin. FU

The email from Bill M about the conference call being rescheduled flat out says lay offs are coming. Towards the bottom of the email. Basically says it’s something they have to do for investors, etc. So it’s comung Q1

What it truly says is that the original cut list was not deep enough. Brent gave the orders to redo the plan in order to save money. What this really means is that there will be many more let go than originally planned for.

Honestly, what they should do is cut one PC Rep from every team and cut one DM. There is no need for any POD to have two different managers and I am sure DMs can handle 15 reps instead of 9 or 10.

Once you factor in Specialty and Ironwood, there are 5 or 6 people promoting LN/VZ to the same doctors. It’s completely unnecessary.

Have one rep sell NZ, the other VY, let them both share BY, LN, and have one of them sell VZ.

    There is so much waste.

Given how poorly Viberzi is performing I think GI is going to see lots of layoffs

There is no way they are going to cut PC sales force by 40%.

Did you not read the latest email?

It said GI and CNS are safe and that changes to PC will occur. The email was explicit in that all Specialty is safe.

IMO, cut one PC rep and one DM from every team.

Job blast email shown no openings for GI and none for CNS. You aren't safe dumbo. Cuts are coming to the low performers. Management has been breathing heavy odorific breath on the cns reps and we are doomed. real fun launch coming to a slaughterhouse near you.

Ahhhahaha!!! GI is not safe. Tell me one good reason GI is safe. Let’s see...y’all costs the company way more money in salary, travel, expenses, etc and you call on the EXACT same docs as PC. Hmmmm what’s your benefit that is unreplaceable?
Anywho how’s that NASH drug progressing lol

NASH drug had mixed PII results which is bad on a relative basis because FDA is more likely to approve Gileads NASH drug than ours. FDA sorts the drugs on efficacy and saftey and picks the best out of the lot.

this is good one, hopefully we get something similar

Allergan PLC, the Dublin-based drug maker, reached a separation agreement with Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President Maria Teresa Hilado. Ms. Hilado will receive a retention payment of $1.8 million, continuing vesting of her stock awards for 12 months following her termination and continuing vesting of her transformation incentive plan award, with payout, based on actual performance. She will also receive immediate vesting of her outstanding stock options and various other benefits.

Ms. Hilado agreed to remain with the company through April 4, 2018 and continue leading certain business initiatives, including signing the company’s 2017 annual financial statements. She will also make herself available to consult with the company from her termination date up to December 31, 2018, at a rate of $16,000 per month
