I wrote this on July 9th. And people called me an idiot...

If you were let in the last round of purges, congratulations. You got to see first hand how JA makes things better for the companies he takes over.

There are some folks that were RIF'ed that won't have a problem finding another job. But frankly...

There just aren't that many good med/surg device jobs out there anymore. The complexion of the industry has changed so dramatically thanks to Accountable Healthcare and the AFA.

As someone who escaped from the BBS sausage factory a number of years ago, I wish you all the best.

    60-70k base 170k at plan.
But the company isn’t worth anything, paying $185 million for Preveleak and recothrom?
I’m getting out of here you can have my position.

biggest issue with selling biosurgery products?

these are "nice to have" products, not "need to have" products. As surgeons and hospitals look for cost cutting opportunities these are the types of products that get cut.

Don't go there. It's a pseudo-drug rep job, not a true device job. Money's good if you can make your number, but the culture is classic pharma. Lots of paranoid, suspicious reps who are worried others will find out they're promoting off-label and they'll get fired. Getting a pink slip from BBS is the same as receiving a "Get Out of Jail Free" card. Escaping this dumpster fire would probably help your career.

BBS Sr Leadership STILL doesn't understand this business, even after being around for awhile. Poster children of the "management by spreadsheet" leadership philosophy.

BBS is like a runaway jet fuel tanker truck speeding willy-nilly towards the scene of an horrible accident where a school bus full of kids just suffered a head-on collision with a honey wagon tanker truck full of septic tank drippings and both are on fire.

    Run away. Far away.

Best part-time job I’ve ever had! Hilarious watching Ethicon take our business and upper management hasn’t a clue what to do about it.
