Can someone please tell me the vacation policy and the car allowance for the Spiriva sales team? Please hold off on idiotic responses. Thank you
your paid time off (sick and vacation) is accrued on a monthly basis. No matter when you start and every January you accrue time starting Jan 1. Car allowance $600 per month taxed like your salary in your paycheck. It's basically tacked on your salary. The 600 car allowance is divided in 2 pay periods. You can't expense it in concur like other companies do. Take $7200 and deduct your tax percentage.
thank you very much How many vacation /sick days do you accrue each month? Is there a mileage reimbursement for gas in addition to the $600 a month?
It's some number per month - 1.579 -- something like that.. comes to about 10-14 days per year of vacation and sick. You can roll a few days into the new year but it's a loss b/c they calculate it differently. So it's best to use. MileAge is .19. I was promised higher.that never happened. Be careful working here.
Does Ashfield follow the same company holidays of client company? I'm wondering about week between Christmas and New Year's? So many pharma companies shut down during that time. For example, if BI gets that time off, do Ashfield reps too?
CSOs like Ashfield will not give you the week off between Christmas and NY. The reason being is that they rely on billing. If the entire sales force is off, Ashfield can not bill. Therefore, Ashfield will make no money. Any contact of any kind with any company is all about the billables.
Laid off after 25 years with same company. New to interview process. Should I post directly on website on AH website or wait for a recruiter to see my profile on LI. Serious answers please
If you're interested in any job opening, you absolutely apply directly on their website... And if you can reach out via LinkedIn in any way, do that too. Cover all bases... It's extremely competitive out there and sometimes pretty random on who they choose to interview and who they pass over. And of course network as much as you can. You may not have any connections at a particular company, but there's a good chance someone else you know does. Good Luck!
And do not count on having job for more than a couple years - times have changed! This industry is incredibly volatile. It's been volatile for years now, but over the past year or so it's become even worse. I could list so many manufacturers, large and small, CSO's, and start-ups that have laid off reps. I've been in this industry for 15 years and this is the worst I have seen. I do believe that the industry is in decline. https://endpts.com/pharmas-broken-business-model-an-industry-on-the-brink-of-terminal-decline/
It is not what it was,but it is still a good industry to be in. Baby boomers will pay for better health, and companies are still making BILLIONS from their pills.
Do Ashfield reps get severance if a contract ends early? Also, what is their 401k like and who is their health insurance carrier? Thank you
We actually do things a bit different here. More employee focused. You'll work the week of Christmas, then get to enjoy a nice long holiday. Cheers!
