Confused...Purchase of Ascend Genomics

Why did they buy Ascend Genomics last month?

 

Probably saw an opportunity at a fire sale. Curious too.

It's what we need to do to take over business now a days. No organic sales buy and conquer. Same as we did with Clarient. Why do you think our quotas and reach suck?

Surprised we aren't buying CSI and Genoptix yet??

 

Not an employee, but I don’t see the first part about organic growth. The Clarient accounts are providing tons of opportunity. Plus CRO work. Who covers that?

GenOptix just sold to Ampersand, right? Doubt they get a deal there, better to go head to head.
