The Ximino launch was a dumb move too.

Hiring a Denver rep to cover Utah, while paying for the airfare, hotel, rental car, company car and paying them a $30K + bonus for 130 scripts.....talk about not bringing in enough revenue to cover your own expenses.

Bringing Ximino to market is just a distraction.

What is really dumb is thinking that spread selling will work in 2017-18? Now there is real competition and pissed dermatology offices looking for a change.

is the new biologics team really getting offers of 130-150k base?? What about the new long term care team? Why are they getting paid 25% more than us derm reps???

Offers are actually higher than what you say in above quote. Realistic is 155k and above. With any solid experience and sales award history you could make 160k and above. If biologic reps aren’t getting that is probably no sales award accomplishment.

I am sorry to hear that it’s not getting any better. I am still trying to get over the anger, hate and hurt I felt for being fooled into coming there. The company is an embarrassment to have on your resume.

You may have joined when there was a different culture, that's what attracted me, so I feel your pain.
I hate to say it, I'm not optimistic, but I'm going to ride out the first three months then likely bail.

    In summary:
Keeping an over staffed Managed care and reimbursement team/
Most derm companies even ones with over a billion dollars in revenue like ortho derm have 4 managed care people we have 10 times that many and they do nothing, They have a biologic too.How do those clowns survive and why is there no accountability for that team ? No contracts No clue.

Not to mention the over staffed MSL team that do not seem to know any KOLs and don't seem to work with providers in the field. They sit at the presentations at medical conventions and take notes and write up reports yea that drives business and furthers providers clinical knowledge on our products - not.

Over staffed Medical department that does not do any phase IV programs or publications or work with KOLs Loved that the Medical guy at the May meeting stated he had a small team. #getaclue

keeping an ophthalmic group that is nothing more than a clown show run by short term clowns and constant drain on profits.#puntthisshitshow

Finally, no pricing strategy other than to charge as much as possible and continue to have price increases every year on everything and then when things don't go your way as far as growth blame the two sales forces that are generating all of the revenue. Blue U and acne derm teams #pissoffproviders&patientsasoftenasyoucan

Put an Indian generic guy like Abhay in charge of Branded divisions when they guy has no clue about the payers or managed care in the US that is why he keeps that over staffed Access group despite the fact they could not get any coverage or access for our products if you held a gun to their head. 40 odd people with the emphasis on odd looking up symphony data and saying everything is covered when in fact it was co pay card support that was then bankrupting the company due to not having contracts in the first place.Wrong head count in the wrong Depts doing nothing. Not a winning company strategy

Just go sell whatever product you are selling and don't worry about the other groups. You will get more done that way. You did not even have to pay me for that advice.

Good point & interesting comment about not worrying about being paid for your advice. you are probably in one of the mentioned groups that are getting paid every two weeks and offer 0 or at least minimal value to the growth and longevity of this company. Go back and keep getting paid to show up, attend conference calls and send emails and or write notes after sitting in plenary sessions at medical or managed care conferences. The net result is if you left the organization like some of your colleagues it would have no affect on the company. Proves the point that these groups offer very little value here. Free advice: consider taking up space at another organization.
