The manager who wrote this must really think the SCs are as dumb as dirt. He (because we have no "she" in neurology sales management, except for E.A., who's too smart for this) thinks this will motivate a sales body who mostly know changes are a-comin'. Keep your options open because this division is DOA, especially with M.F. at the helm. An egotist who thinks he invented the wheel is here for one reason: to move up. This division is just a vehicle for him.

He has an ego and wants to move up, so what. Last I looked sales are up. He has done more than Klaus and the last guy ever did.

Ok Mr obvious, tell us something that we don't know. When was this drug ever not dead, other than in a few isolated pockets in the south where we bought some advocates.

I notice how quickly you respond to a new post. Do you have a chip in your ass that stimulates you to respond so quickly.

How long do you think we will keep pushing this drug?

You hit the nail on the head. To truly give the doctor what he needs, someone other than the rep and manager would have to meet and know them. Someone above was shown the opportunity, from the rep, with the doc in Alabama, and the company took care of his need. So unsaid doc in Alabama has been paying off like a slot machine ever since. That is a rare occurrence in this organization. Across all divisions in this company, if there is one truism, it is that our major customers only know two people from Bayer, the rep and his or her manager.

    This is obvious "fake news".

As the national sales manager said. We have to make an exception and get this new rep in Alabama transitioned to Bayer very quickly because she is so exceptional.

She will be head of sales training or marketing in six months to a year, and she will be telling all the dumb sales reps how it should be done.

And people still wonder why such a great drug has such lousy market share.

You're joking, Mr. F. A rep in any given territory does NOT have this kind of impact. Ken worked this territory for decades and cultivated Laganke into the nation's #1 prescriber of Betaseron. Some newbie waltzes in to a primo territory, produces some NPTs (a FRACTION of which were produced under Ken), and you proclaim her to be a sales genius. With leadership like yours, it's a marvel we still have a sales team.

"As the national sales manager said..." Be honest, Mike, and ID yourself. You manage by intimidation and threats and your loyalty quotient is zero. Many good reps (and managers) are actively looking elsewhere for opportunity. I know your response will be something like, "I got rid of bad people". Our only hope is that Paul or Carsten recognize what's going on before it's too late.

This message is directed to posters 76 and 77 and any other members of the "Mensa club".
From my point of view, the above message drips of sarcasm. The quotation marks around fake news should have been a clue. Certainly everything after that should have led you to that conclusion.
Did either of you even read the last line?
Do you really think that the national manager wrote this?
You want the above poster to identify him or herself, you start. Under the cloak of anonymity you are so brave.
Whatever your responsibilities are, it is painfully obvious that both of you are easily replaceable. I suggest you two do something productive and resign. Any temp hire could replace you and save the company a lot of money.
If you are reps, your docs must toy with you all day long with false objections.
Just to clarify, dripping sarcasm does not mean the above message is wet.

    Good selling
    Your NSM
