How come there are so many people leaving. I thought they had really good products and the company was taking off. Also, is it true that the base salaries are in the 60,000 range? That is super low for the industry.
Ask the recruiter what your income level is at plan, because less than 50% of the sales force is at plan. That means you need to be able to live on your base salary, with minimal commission checks.
This really is a good job for the first 12 months. Home study, ride along, and training is not bad (1 week) and you get paid! LOL
This is a fun job! The products have evidence that the others don't, you wont make the $$$, but you will be helping patients.
This is a crappy company to sell for, low pay, but worse, hospitals don't want to pay a higher price for the products. They will even tell you that the product is probably better, but the less expensive one is good enough.
This was a great place to be 5 years ago, but now there are so many me to products on the market that hospitals wont pay the premium price for the evidence behind the dressing. Management has no clue and keeps quotas high. People just come and go. They talk a good game about being a different type of company, but this is BS. Talk to a rep prior to accepting a position.
Clinicians like the products, but customers cant and wont pay the premium prices. Much of the business is controlled by regional or national contracts, so you could win big, or your territory could tank, all without you doing anything. The money sucks and the job blows!
TSM's love selling in a commodity space because it is fun selling expensive dressings in the ICU. Hospitals almost require the reps to be in the OR to demonstrate application of the product. This is serious stuff!
A terrible place for a sales person. Low base salary, very few people at sales plan, equals weak W2. Oh, and shitty management team!
Home come most of the sales team cant hit plan with the great Molnlycke products. The evidence is very powerful! LOL
