One plan being looked at is ZSONC-64. It’s a plan from a consulting company in which a company would have a footprint of 64 oncology reps nationwide, with no regional business directors, and 8-10 district managers. There are variants of this template as some companies choose to add back in a dozen or so institutional reps who only call on larger accounts, universities, and health systems. In the case of one company who implemented this plan they cut their oncology sales force but offered some of them reassignments as institutional reps.
Because of dwindling access and provider consolidations, the overall trend going forward will be smaller sales forces with the leveraging of medical information, managed care reps, and institutional specialty reps.

Jokers. You're half right. It's the PWC-ONC-32 Plan. C-suites make all the decisions. So 100% account managers. You're right about RBDs though. Gotta go ...SP is coming.

Isn’t this what we were all concerned about when they added the mirror territories? It NEVER should have happened.

Exactly...how's that working in RCC? Hahahahahah! Losers! Worst company ever. Sell off your oncology drugs and get back to mass market primary care drugs...it's what you know, like and operate as.

based on the neurology businesss unit, they can't even do that very well, their success was directly linked to Pfizer and JnJ.

Rose DeWitt Bukater: Mr. Andrews! I saw the iceberg and I see it in your eyes. Please, tell me the truth!
Thomas Andrews: The ship will sink.
    Rose DeWitt Bukater: You're certain?
Thomas Andrews: Yes, in an hour or so, all this will be at the bottom of the Atlantic.
    Caledon Hockley: [shocked]What?
Thomas Andrews: Please tell only who you must. I don't want to be responsible for a panic. And get to a boat quicky, don't wait. You remember what I told you about the boats?
Rose DeWitt Bukater: [shocked] Yes... I understand.

I just applied for the opportunity in Maine, looking to break into oncology and willing to take a risk here. Any insight whether or not having extensive specialty drug/buy-and-bill sales will lend to this opportunity? Appreciate any honest feedback but realize I'll have to filter through some of the responses.

When you say specialty drug/buy and bill it shows how little you know about oncology...good luck.

Eisai is a place to start a career in Oncology but you need to get the experience and get out, the place is a toxic sess pool.
