Coming over from ZS..you know...AZ bought us...and we are so so excited to get to be at the meeting in Feb. In Chicago on Valentine's.

Nothing quite like that to put the old marriage on the rocks.

    Who picked that city
    On that date
    On that holiday?

When I told my husband..he asked...does this company want people to quit their jobs or leave the company?? My response to him...was yes. Obviously somebody does.

Obviously...somebody very sad..very lonely and very unhappy.

But get ready ..we are about to get this party started..u know that scene from the movie Grease at their high school prom where Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta completely bust out in their crazy dance for the televised performance. Get ready AZ...we are coming!!
ZS is coming...so get ready...we may not yet have our OWN drug to sell but get ready bc we know how to sizzle!!! You aint seen nothing like this before.

HQ source here. Long-term, AZ commercial strategy will catch up with the incompetence at the top. Nobody does any meaningful work here in Wilmington. Can’t continue to justify hundreds of millions in waste. ZS9 will be rejected again.frozen pipe will be blamed this time. OPTIMUS is a failed trial, think SOCRATES and EUCLID, the charade continues. DECLARE will fail to demonstrate both primary endpoints and will miss both secondary endpoints. Reduction of hospitalization for heart failure may be only bright spot. But with renal dysfunction increasing in the study drug arm, longer term risk of heart failure progression likely. Can’t force the kidneys to work overtime excreting sodium and sugar and expect function to remain stable six years out. Already shopping ticagrelor around to a few private equity houses. Merck not interested in it. Diabetes portfolio also being shopped around. Merck likes what they already have. Watch as the chosen ones move over to other TAs to protect their tenure. Merck not interested in keeping them either. Their shuffle for chairs is only temporary. Those worried about pensions. Merck still has a solid and well funded pension plan. AZ is underfunded due to years of poor management.

Don’t forget the significant 22% increase in non fatal stroke with study drug. Could be a show stopper.

24% increase with JARDIANCE. Was non significant in a trial less than 50% as large. If there is a class effect as we promote, non-fatal stroke may be similar and significant in a much larger trial. May kill the class. Time to polish off the old resume.

HQ source here. If approved, may not be worth bringing to market. A couple VCs lined up hoping to get in on the cheap. Stay tuned.

Why wouldn' it be worth bringing to market?
For all intent and purposes...approved in EU and the label is clean there.

Lots of studies in Asian markets ongoing now.

Build a business case. And not the one the idiot brand team moved over from CV will build. Oh wait, they pay consultants to do their jobs. What a waste of my shareholder value.

Uh..yes..absolutely agree..the ticagrelor brand team is a bunch of bobble heads.
Whoever the consultant was that got them to buy into that prick ad campaign they put together .."Is clopidigrel really enough???" Omg..
They have lost their minds..bunch of narcissist brand people. These doctors are busy saving patients lives while the brand team c nt even find rheeir way out of a paper bag with the help of paid consultant.

    Old and tired...AZ.
Hung up we and left to dry.

Just like a bunch of these craggly old AZ reps that think they look good. Arghh...
