    Jim Willet Vyaire EVP Airway & Vents (same job at Covidien)
    Dawn Bitz Vyaire VP Airways (980 Vent & Airways at Covidien)

    Both are responsible for PB 980 fiasco. It launched w crippled featureset at expense of patient safety for their bonuses. Plagued w global class 1 recalls since launch. Missed nearly every revenue target since launch. Pulled from NICUs worldwide more than once. They orchestrated the Newport acquisition train wreck now dying on the vine. MDT put 980 on commercial hold for 9 months post acquisition and sacrificed $10’s of mill in revenue to fix everything. TGA just recalled 980 again after commercial hold for more problems. It opened a whole new can of worms and problems.

    Both were “asked to leave” Covidien. Lets talk character.

    Jim Willett (who went pre-med) ordered shipping of unapproved test vents in development secretly to Panama, used them on humans before Acute & GLP animal testing. Got the ombudsman called on him. So much for do no harm eh? He didn’t keep control Dawn. She caused so many problems it eventually contributed to his involuntary departure.

    Dawn is a pathological liar. She was shoved out of Covidien w/o choice after most of her team filed complaints w HR. She lies in press interviews & says she left for great opportunity to start a glamping company. Dawn ran her glamping business into the ground. She lies & tells everyone she sold it & never needs to work again. If you call her suppliers & distribution partners they’ll tell you something different. Dawn was fired from her last job at InDevr after she failed as Chief Commercial Officer. She overpromised, underdelivered and her team of 8 all filed complaints with HR, again. She ended up being the only person left on the commercial team in end before she was fired.

    Then she lies at Vyaire about everything all over again. Why did we hire these two shady aholes?

    The former CEO of Yahoo (pre Marissa Mayer) get fired after he lied on resume or job application right? Did HR ever do a background check on JW or DB? Maybe a deeper dive is warranted if we want to uphold our company values and all that jazz.

    Do you honestly think Vyaire HR is concerned? They hired these individuals. Do you think they are more ethical?

    I am grateful to them researching these 2. Better the devil you know. HR didn’t hire them, they were a rubber stamp in the process. If Vyaire was made aware and HR did nothing, it’ll just add $000’s to negligence lawsuit damages.

    There is no doubt in my mind that "Project Vyaire" will crash and burn by lawsuits and/or the FDA. There are many that question their ethics. The question is if BD as 49.9% owner knows/allows these alleged unethical business practices to continue.

    Not fond of these RMS lunkheads. Curious after reading your post.

    Googled, found Dawn Bitz’s press interviews. Dawn states she left a $250K a year job to start her glamping company. Contacted a few buddies from Covidien-MDT RMS. Marketing Directors don’t pull in $250K. She lied out her ass in a press interview.

    What is product pipeline looking like? Haven't seen anything released by V yet? What is the stumbling block?

    I currently work at Vyaire. We have one main project going on for consumables: to deliver a heated humidification system from a supplier in Germany but rebrand it with the Vyaire logo. Beyond that, it's anyone's guess as they have been promising us a pipeline for the last year.

    Also, three Marketing Managers have left since Dawn took over as head of Airway Management marketing (one just up and left, leaving his badge and laptop on his desk without any notice and another was here for only two weeks prior to giving her notice). Really shows the type of HOSTILE work environment Dawn is fostering.

    As for Jim Willett, he's at best a politician. At our townhall meetings, he will NOT give a straight answer to anything but just dances around the question without giving solid feedback.

    We have lost a lot of engineers to the other big med device companies in Irvine (where we are supposed to be moving at the end of this year/early next year) which is largely due to the pay discrepancy for similar positions between Vyaire and every other med company in that area.

    This ship is sinking and the getting is really, really good.

    Im at Vyaire too. We have no pipeline because Dawn and Jim are inept. Daves a tool and feckless CEO.

    Unfortunately have to interact w- Dawn way more than I like. Needs to go, shes a cancer. You should’ve heard it when her ppl left. Reading OPs comments, witnessing whats happened in office w- Dawn, Im no lawyer but her obvious history of ppl probs and unmistakably poor mgmt behaviors puts us at serious risk.

    Rumor mill spat out individual-s are having discussions w- employment attorneys, Dawns the primary defendant. If someone files, question is will it be state or federal court?

    Other recent exits may have dropped dime on Dawn and Jims sketchy actions w- DOJ, FDA-OCI, and Chuck Grassley. Flash drives hold ton of info, takes just 1 email. If I was either Id worry.

    On personal level she needs professional help and serious medication. She is batshit crazy, no lie. You dont see it right away but it becomes apparent after a while. I and others get a strong man hating gender vibe from her too.

    Jim hired Dawn so they can backstop each others lies. Both are so overselling their accomplishments and abilities. Jims useful as tits on a bull. No surprise he does a deaf mute imitation so competently in town halls. My read hes one of those guys that gets the exec title, rides the wave until contributions or lack of comes under question, then bounces before hes found out or gets forced out.

    Steven Dyson from Apax has no clue about healthcare. Acquiring entirety of Vyaire a big mistake, tons of exposure. Particularly w- these ex-Covidien ppl running the show. They managed to reduce our collective IQ to short bus and helmets.

    Glassdoor reviews are not wrong.

    Good to be got here is gone. $ dont make it better or tolerable. My advice work on an exit, its only getting worse.

    Yeah right. I made the mistake of letting dawn interact with a cpl of my docs. Never again. Shes an embarrassment & flat out wanted to engage in quid pro quo.

    Dawn Bitz just got fired from Vyaire after her entire team of 6, including a director, quit and she was the only one left.

    Im one of her marketing managers that quit. Terrible work environment.we were given zero time to be out in the field to learn about our products, weren’t allowed to travel and had to work work work without giving us the time to learn about anything. Made zero sense. We also constantly put presentations together that we were never allowed to present. The heated humidifier project wasn’t mine but it was done ass backwards. So happy I left and work for a great company now. Apparently she finally got fired after her entire team quit
