Now let’s talk about the reps. Some of the worst offending managers have been put out to pasture. Which reps do you think should have been laid off but weren’t?
Sorry you lost your job. It really isn’t going to help your karma by starting threads like this. It’s time to move on.
I am one of the people that lost my job. Remember this is big business, not a place where everyone gets a trophy like most are use to. Move on. Spend your energy and time getting a new job and stop making the rest of use look bad. I hate it that we lost our position but, we are all just employees, not owners. Also, I would have let go more people if it were my company and my money, wouldn't you?
Well, I can only speak for my group, boys and girls. I work in lytics and there are NO “worst cs’s” because we are freagin awesome and WE save lives each and every day. How many of you others can say that? Didn’t think so. Y’all go sell something would you? I’m tired of pulling your weight with this company. Tootles.
The worst reps I know - HER2, original Roche Xeloda. Many really good GNE hired HER2 reps lost jobs to worse reps with more seniority plus more ingratiated their original Roche managers.
Roche CS’s mostly nice, old, harmless, and impotent. HEM CS’s cool and friendly. HER CS’s all about the DNA family but with nepotism, favoiritism, and taking of friends. Lung/GI CS’s are mkstley pack scoundrels, snakes, and hyper competitive a**holes!
DUDE you said it! LGI are always a pain in the butt! Most of the long-term Avastin jerks think they are something special and the world revolves around them.... Got worse when they were given Atezo... Getting their buts kicked by BMS and Merck now! Hope they liked watching HER2 get screwed as a preview. They are going get “BOLD’d”, slashed and burned next! At least they deserve it.
What planet are you on? Most of the HER2 employees who were let go were the legacy Roche people. Only 1 Roche Legacy manager in HER2 was spared. Only a few legacy Roche employees were retained; I won't name them here because it is a public forum, but I know them; few and far between. It was rumored that Frank L... designed the HER2 partnership and merged the Roche employees into the territories with the B at the end of their territory number in order to make it easier to let them go, to make it easier to spot the Roche employees. GNE got rid of the COS' with seniority because the benefits the Legacy Roche employees were entitled to were too expensive; the pension payments, 6 weeks of vacation per year (do the math on that on a weekly basis, very expensive) and high salaries. A few of the displaced HER2 employees were fortunate enough to transition into other franchises with open territories, but not all.
OMG will you all stop it with these ridiculous words like “Legacy reps.” This is such an unbelievable pretentious place.
PLEEEEEEASE!!!! You just gave us a huge laugh. The easiest franchise period. This has been admitted by many. No real competition and that is one area of medicine where you need no reps.
Hey dumbshit, you all work for Roche now!! Legacy Roche just differentiates the people who were Roche employees who have/had the pension and lifetime medical benefits. It is not meant to be pretentious.
Hello all DNA CS rocket scientist who think they make a difference. Get ready for the phone calls at EOY for the next 5 years. Genetech in San Fran was managed extremely poorly by the best and brightest... As we all know the pendulum swings from one side to the other very quickly.Time would be better spent thinking of next opportunities verses which rep you did not like. I hope you enjoyed the easy ride. Strap in...
