Have you thoroughly investigated the 'draw' ? Has your District Business Manager clearly explained how your involuntary loan or "draw" from Q4 will be paid back or "trued up" at the end of Q1?
If you don't sell enough Symproic this quarter to cover your involuntary loan or draw, then you will actually owe Purdue money that they coercively loaned you in Q4.
Imagine you got a $10,000 bonus in the Q4. $2,500 of that bonus was your draw. Imagine you got $6,800 commission in Q1. If you didn't clear or cover your draw, before taxes you will receive [$6,800 - $2,500 = $4,300]
Oh yeah and after taxes, you might as well just give it to your ex-wife and grin.
Imposing this coercively is problematic, no matter how well intentioned it may have been sold to us in Atlanta or just last week, it will lead to poor work morale and lower the desire to sell Symproic.

This is great. A typo in the title. Four billion in sales? Not for a while.

Our manager did not explain this at all! Is that even legal? This company needs to be transparent and communicate. Layoffs/expansion? Why can’t leadership just be honest? Symproic is a joke. Two doctors laughed at me last week while manager checking off more rides and “coaching”. Two others told me to get out. I can’t take it anymore.

Symproic is being electronically writing, sent to the (BIG BOX) pharmacies and filled by the pharmacists, repeatedly. FACT...
Analytics/ Operations are pulling out Symproic scripts before they publish it to igallery obviously. You'r being paid on an estimated number. Remember back in Hysingla days? You'll have an all time high and then count out 4 weeks in igallery to see 1 or 0? How is that? 15trx to 1trx LOL.

SO tomorrow morning when they congratulate these folks accompanied by epoints (sad, wtf?)
Just know that yes you did have scripts wrritten, but IMS sucks terribly or Project Plymouth is back up and not reporting the real numbers. Enjoy that true up Draw too btw.

The issue with the draw is that the company went into launch ASSUMING that we won’t be hitting the set goals for Symproic. So, if they were so sure that they weren’t obtainable ahead of time why not rework the bonus plan? They have a pre allotted bonus set for each year, obviously they had funds left over but are too cheap to true up and pay people what they deserve.

I have NEVER worked for a company where a launch quarters bonus is lower than every bonus over the past three years. And comparatively I’m doing alright selling Symproic.

They obviously are trying to get people to leave on there own accord, however paying out severance would be a minimal cost compared to the lost of productivity they are encouraging.

Don’t get me started on the R&F, not only is it unobtainable, but between that and the other BS part of bonus we are capped at 1/3 of what reps were bonusi g just a couple years back.

Maybe it wasn’t Timney and his crew that wrecked this company after all?

Exactly how much bonus do you believe you deserve if sales are below goal? Last I checked, sales is an "incentivized" profession. No sales; no bonus. Little sales; little bonus. Big sales; BIG bonus.
Don't demand door number 3 when you are hanging between doors number 1 and 2. That's an unrealistic expectation.

Don’t be misled the original poster laid out true facts and gave all reason to ponder. Stay focused on what’s really happening to your bonus

To clarify, I was ABOVE goal. But I’m not talking about me, I’m talking about offering a compensation plan that includes a draw. If the GOALS WERE REALISTIC A DRAW WOULDNT BE NECESSARY.

“Hey we know we aren’t offering you a competitive bonus plan with enough money, but we will let you borrow some”

WHAT EXACTLY WAS THE SYMPROIC RX EXPECTATION FOR Q4, PER DIVISION, think I missed that.

If you had 50 Symproic and we at goal for everything else your bonus will be in between $9-12K. PATHETIC during a launch

I deserve the bonus that I earned. Pay me my $2500/$2500 for OER, then my regional survey of say, $1000 and $0 for Symproic since I didn't sell enough. I'd rather have my 6k before taxes rather than next quarter missing Symproic goals again and now paying the company back. A billionaire family with a billion dollar all cashed (low cost) company drawing me out of 2k to 4k dollars, that's how you stay rich, I guess. Pay me what I sell and that's it.

IMS isn't reporting the correct Symproic data. And this is a fact.

IMS is not reporting! Or the company is hiding data. I know for a fact a physician that has written for over 20 S in 1 week. I’ve confirmed with office and pharmacy that they were filled. Yet no credit. This occured several weeks ago. The Dr continues to write daily!

You are correct in that this company has turned to shat. Sacklers made that call when they didn't diversify decades ago. However - the TRUE F/up was bringing Timney and his whores in! The decline to doom became a freefall under those morons.

You people put up with WAY too much to make so little. Anyone still at Purdue is either old or completely desperate for a job. This is no longer a company that anyone with talent would decide to come to.

All the good reps and good dm’s have left and the good ones still here have one foot out the door. Purdue will have bottom of the barrel reps/dm’s left at the end of Q1. Reps that no one else wants or will hire. Little talent and small track records.

Sad to see how Purdue has fallen to pieces over the last 5 years.

Left Rome on the table and ran

So I managed to get 11 symproic scripts. How much money will be taking from my bonus? And can I opt out? My DBM said that he doesn't know..
