ANS is the biggest scam since Hospital billing. All of an sudden, these lab experts are now ANS experts. Crap like this gives our industry a bad name.

Since I work for a legitimate lab. What is ANS?

ANS, some nonsense machine for autonomic dysfunction which is FDA cleared but not approved. Renting machines to docs, and billing for unbundled billing codes. Reps getting percentages, distributors getting percentages... basically flee splitting. Also, the same scum bags that messed up Pgx (the same scum bags that pushed compounding), are now pushing the ANS scam. Feds are already on them. Like the compounders, like the Pgx scam, this is the next big scam.

PGx is not a scam but yes there were some labs that were paying money claiming to be doing trials and basically paying a kickback for the doctors to run PGx tests. Compounders were not scam unless they were illegally paying doctors to write scripts or paying patients to get scripts but the compound medication itself worked wonders for many patients. You are one of those people that thinks it is illegal to pay reps a percentage when it is NOT. There has never been a single case of a rep or company getting into any trouble "strictly" for paying their sales reps a percentage vs a base salary or flat fee. In every single case where there were problems it was because of either the owners of the company or the reps offering bribes and that was the sole reason for the raids.

PGX is absolutely a scam! If it is not a scam how come you have to jump through hoops to get paid? PGX does not work and none of the labs can prove it works! All PGX labs are snake oil salesmen!

Absolutely incorrect. Multiple Pgx labs are being audited due to percentage of adjudication being paid to reps. That’s why Pgx will be a foregone conclusion this year. The orginal poster is correct. ANS “machines” are definitely next. Let’s not forget “sticker” based emg studies.

I find it shocking that some idiot thinks that PGx testing is a scam. in the future it will be a expectation of care that EVERYONE will get PGx tested early in their life. The system SAVES money when you are proactive not reactive.
