Philadelphia PCP Manager

    Is it true that the Phili manager fired or ran off all his representatives but one? I heard it is the second time he has done this to his region. How could he still be in management? What does this say about the area director?

    This manager is awful! I have never heard of someone losing so many reps in short period of time! Get a grip buddy you have a team, or maybe just one rep at this point, promoting lifestyle products. Bottom line Astellas needs to tap the bank and acquire a real product to improve morale and stop blaming the reps for company shortcomings!

    Need layoffs? Hope you are one of them. The Capital area has always been a problem area. Look at their performance since the current ASD took over. They won Summit once and the rest of the years they were in the bottom 30%. Bottom feeders again this year. Pretty consistent dismal sales results. You know your team sucks when you are in the bottom consistently out of 7-10 areas

    So you are saying that the capital area director is a low performer with the exception of one year? It isn't too hard for a director to perform in the top 30%. You have a one in three chance of performing that well. Why isn't the guy on a PIP? How is he ranked this year? Top third or at the bottom? Dead Last? PIP him make him accountable not just arrogant.

    Agree Area Manager should be on a PIP for sales numbers and hiring terrible managers like the Philly manager. When Philly manager was in DC he lost almost his whole team. They either quit or he fired them. Some really good people.

    I feel sorry for the people in the capital area. They have to be such good actors and actresses when their area director is around. I did hear that the little man is quite sensitive little fellow.

    Yeah, and 3 YEARS LATER it's still happening! Under another HR investigation. Astellas just doesn't learn their lesson.
