Recently received a call from a headhunter with an opportunity to joins GSK on a senior IT position but am wondering how is IT in GSK, for the people in this forum? No trolling, please.
IT “survivor” here. The cycle I’ve seen with different groups in IT is that a new boss comes in, there’s a restructuring, new teams are formed and given specific domains of responsibility (“services”), local employees are hired, team establishes the service over 6-12 months, and then, once everything is running smoothly, the whole operation is moved to Poland. A couple of employees stay on locally, while the rest get the boot.
