How do they justify the amount paid given the low sales and lack of meaningful innovation? Who makes these lame decisions? There are much sexier companies and products worthy of acquiring that should have garnered a look before way overpaying for this crap.
Probably avoiding some sort of IP litigation, just acquire them and it goes away is the thought process here.
It is a good product and answers a great ethical problem- taking down partial tears to do a full repair. If they can get the product cost down and get more MD exposure it can be a good product. Until.... Arthrex finds a way to knock it off or outright steal it.
