Stopped by my local Tractor Supply. Looking around I saw a fridge with Spectra vaccines. I asked to look at them and they are mfgd by BI. So, who Is screing over the veterinarians? Would that be BI/Merial or are these the vaccines spun off to Elanco?

BI, they have been making those for tractor supply since FDAH acquisition. Spectra was BI's vaccine brand before they got FDAH.

I’m a little confused here. The BI vaccines were spun off to Elanco. Are you saying that BI/Merial is still producing/selling these vaccines to Tractor Supply. Also, I would assume, if so, that they aren’t manufacturing two separate vaccines and that these are the same ones they sell to DVMs.

BI kept the Spectra vaccines. They did not sell them to Elanco.

Elanco is still manufacturing those at the old FDAH plant for BI. Many of the strains of virus in Spectra vaccines are the same, but not all. That production is being moved to a Merial site eventually though.

Spectra vaccines being sold OTC and Solo-Jec vaccines direct to the consumer all the while trying to catch diverters. Yea... that’s right
