Anyone else have a phone interview and their status has been stuck on considering for a long time. Is this a normal process for GSK

Resume Received; might do a screening
Considering means you are being considered.
Closed; someone else got the job

if its “considering” for a month than you probably didn’t get the job

You didn't get the job. HR won't get back to you even if you call them for a status update. They'll ignore your follow call and email. You'll just receive a "declined" email months later. Typical of GSK.

"considering" = considering where to go for lunch

I’ve had this ‘considering’ for 2 weeks on a position I’ve recently applied. Not been emailed/called yet for interview. A bit annoying when you know you’ve clearly already been screened. Would prefer to get a rejection email to move on with my life than sit and wait

    "Considering" doesn't mean "considerate"

Hey Sparky, I was with them over 30 years and recently retired. Those I heard complaining about our company very soon either left or were ASKED to leave, if not , they were terminated. Intelligent reps do not voice their opinions if negative.

I’m curious about my status. I’ve had two phone screenings and a face to face interview a little over a week ago. Today when I check my status changed from considered to under review. I hope that’s a good sign. I guess I’m just anxious to hear either way. The waiting game is not fun to play.

I never heard anything after that interview. I received one email from HR weeks later saying the position was temporarily on hold due to internal changes. After that, nothing. It’s very frustrating.

Internal changes is a code word for impending layoffs.

I attended a hiring event. It was a total joke. They were only interested in one person who attended...
    He was black.
