    Will you please enlighten us? I don’t understand why this company purchased nucynta IR and nucynta ER and won’t make their product available to people who are suffering with debilitating pain.

    Depomed knew in the summer that there would be a shortage of 200 mg. The hurricane is just a convenient excuse.

    I read on a thread that Collegium had a pharmacy locating service for Nucynta ER as well as a mail order service. I left four messages on two answer lines at Collegium over the course of a week, called the CFO whose mailbox was full (I was a CFO on Wall Street so I thought he might help me!), and left messages for two other named department heads as well as a message on their Linked In page. Nucynta ER has been the only medication that has helped me after having broken my back twice and undergone several surgeries. Puerto Rico has 91% power restoration (although not totally reliable, so I don't understand why they can't get some supply of Nucynta ER to the US for distribution to patients who are in need of it!

    I know this is agonizing I want you to know because I have tried everything that I possibly can to find nucynta er 200 every month and the last two months I had a pharmacist that ordered it for me every day. He did finally receive two bottles but when this last bottle is finished I’m back to calling the pharmacist every few days. I have also checked with other pharmacies and I found one pharmacy that had nucynta IR. It does help some but it don’t stay in your system for very long. That may be something to talk to your physician about. I do understand pain and I will pray that nucynta will become available soon.
