    There are no new generics for Restasis that I have seen on any FDA list or covered in media. Most likely the reason is that the formulation of cyclosporine appears to be the difficult aspect of it which is exactly the argument Allergan had for protecting its patents in Federal court. Only strengthens Allergan patent appeal case. The science is NOT obvious as the incompetent Texas judge ruled.

    Wrong - totally obvious. Restasis has been on the market for 20 years - it’s sheer greed to have it patent protected any further. And don’t get me started on that whole tribal sovereignty scam!

    Sun Pharma's Seciera ( OTX-1) NDA was accepted by the USFDA in 2017. They hope to have their drug out by summer if all goes well.

    And if its priced right and not put in a shitty plasic bottle that shoots the contents all out in one big glop it might do pretty well in the dry eye market.
