    Now that Purdue has eliminated half it's sales force, and will no longer send reps to doctors offices to discuss opioid drugs, the pressure will not be on Egalet to follow suit...I guarantee doctors will now act even more contemptuous towards opioid pill peddling reps than before...Polish up those resumes, boys & girls...

    Yup we are done, the pharma pain industry is done. The public look at us as the source of the opioid epidemic and docs are happy to agree with them so long as the fingers aren't pointed at them. Managed Care and the healthcare field have found their patsy.

    The future of pain management products is in non-opioid options. Almost exclusively. The opioid ship has sailed. Subsection of a subsection of a subsection of a declining market. The money isn't there to be made, despite what line the corporate office is slinging that week.

    This company is a dumpster fire and has been for a very long time.
