"In early May 2016, Lundbeck NA Ltd (formerly known as Chelsea Therapeutics, Inc.) received a subpoena from the US Attorney’s Office in Boston, Massachusetts, relating to an investigation of payments to charitable organizations providing financial assistance to patients taking Lundbeck products, and Northera and Xenazine sales, marketing and related practices. Lundbeck LLC, USA is cooperating with this investigation."

How else did you think they were going to get Turdthera paid for to meet the inflated forecast?

Not free in reality when your manager "suggest" you all go out as a district.

with the threatening tone of the communication about this meeting, this is no longer lundbeck. Seriously we have to agree to a statement that we can be fired for any misbehavior and you better not be on social media. Since when does the company have any legal footing to be looking at our personal accounts? It's clear that compliance/legal has hijacked this company into being afraid of itself. Got to love the cant expense food/drinks on provided nights. I guess those record profits need to go back to Denmark.

You know we are in trouble when you have to throw a piece of paper across the room trying to ring a waste basket during a Rexulti session to determine who gets up in front of the room to be humiliated role playing! This is what we have to do at LUNA! One question, WHY DON'T THE AFT's AND FT's have to be the ones to role play in front of everyone?? I thought they were "trainers" for God's sake!!! Don't they get extra pay for doing crap like that? WHY DOES ANYONE HAVE TO BE FORCED TO GET UP? Why can't a useless ASM do it for once? Better yet, let whats her name, the head of the training dept. do it!

    Unbelievable,

First, I sincerely hope you are kidding about when you said, "you have to throw a piece of paper across the room trying to ring a waste basket during a Rexulti session to determine who gets up in front of the room to be humiliated role playing!" Have we really come down to this? It's bad enough we have to go over for the hundredth time the same vis aid, do the same workshops, and then discuss a strategy that's doomed to failure before it even begins.

Fear has started to take over with upper management. They know we have nothing new for years to come along with the LOE for Onfi in the Fall. One suggestion, cut out useless speaker programs, meetings, FT's and anything else that's not absolutely necessary to run the company. This is going to be a very long dry period with only Northera, AM, Rex and Trin. in the U.S. to keep things going.

Throwing a piece of paper across a room. My God, how unprofessional and embarrassing!

Can profits from psych drugs and Northera alone even cover the salaries of sales reps and US org?

Now consider the need to also support 3000 employees outside US.

“But you can stay if you want” Yeah, maybe stay at home searching for a new job.

Speaker programs are conducted for one reason... so KOLs get “theirs”...read between the lines

Not saying I don't believe you about throwing a piece of wadded up paper at a waste basket, but I can't believe anyone would be that stupid to come up with an idea as lame as that. They have a sort of sadistic streak in wanting to put people on the spot by bringing them in front of the room. Wonder why we don't see an ASM, Tres, or JA show us what good looks like? My father was a Marine Colonel, and retired with 30 years. As a company commander, he said many times he would never ask his men to do anything he wouldn't do. He had the same attitude when he was a bird colonel. That's what you call leading by example. Leaders like my father are rare these days.

From the way you described your Dad, he sound exactly what a leader should be like. Well, I don't think our leadership quite measures up to your Dad. Going forth, Lundbeck is going to go through some difficult times, we all know that, and without a pipeline it will be even more difficult. I mean just look at our agenda and what we are going to be doing, and what our strategy is. SOS, different day.

My suggestion is go to the meeting, smile a lot, speak up no matter how stupid the conversation is, check the box and go home. I think after this meeting is over, a lot of eyes will be opened. Pressure this year is going to be ramped up a lot, so don't be surprised by it. Other companies are hiring. Do your research and see what happens.

I can assure you we don't have a single leader that could even come close to your Dad in the leadership department. Please thank him for his service to our country. Sometimes people with a little power have a need to show it to others. Forcing people to role play in front of the room, without prior notice to really prepare, is an example of the sadistic streak you talked about in your post. Maybe the word "sadistic" is a little strong, but they definitely want to show everyone they can make someone do something they really don't feel comfortable in doing, which is sad.

I too have also wondered why you will never see anyone but a rep in front of the room, except for a low level trainer every now and then. Have you ever, at any company, seen a marketing head, the head of training, the head of sales, RM, etc. do it. No, because they feel more uncomfortable than we do. Besides what's the purpose of putting someone up there that really doesn't feel comfortable about doing it? What does it accomplish? Why put the person through that stress. Maybe they all do have a little sadistic streak running through them after all.

Lundbeck's training is sophomoric, and never really address the 800lb. gorilla in the room, and that's because they can't. Also, they take the same vis aid that we've used since launch, make a few insignificant changes, and expect us to get all excited to have this amazing new sales tool.

Now, after Luna, the pressure will be jacked up. Probably Action Plans and PIP's will become more commonplace. Our goals continue rise and Otsuka told me their's went down. They expect us to take from generics which control 99% of the market except for AM. That's not a strategy, it a denial of reality.

As usual, the fish stinks from the head, then they cut the tail of f the company for not executing a shitty business plan that goes after an incredibly shrinking market. All they are doing is selling generics in place of their own brands on stupid sales calls in an Obamacare and Medicaid growing society.
