Amazing how uptight people get about talking about sex. This week is made for cheating on your spouse. This is the third year I have experimented with someone outside of marriage. My husband is 45-50, nice guy, great father, but the sex is lagging. I like being with a younger guy at this meeting that is straight, hard and erect for a longer period of time. There are also many "cougars" that experiement with other women during this week, not just focusing on younger guys from corporate. Women need their freedom to explore their sexual side as well as be satisfied. I like staight up sex, nothing wild like anal. That would be difficult to explain if I got ripped up back there. Its not able yanking a weewee or wanting VD. Its about the sexual revolution and being satisfied as a women.

I'm sure your husband and kids are proud of you.

BTW - express your sins elsewhere as this board is not where dumb asses and sluts share their fantasies.

Sins? Let me guess, your are an Evangelical from Alabama, Kansas or Nebraska? You think women should be home barefoot and pregnant. Women are taking over your old world of the old boys club. Women are just expressing their freedom and economic empowerment. Enjoy your weekend reruns of the Dukes of Hazard. The dumbass woman are taking your job old boy. My husband is just fine with me.

Be conscious all the time. People are always watching, you need to watch what you do, say, how you act, what you wear, if you drink at meetings or not. It/you will get discussed, while others won't and get a pass, you just never know who's watching and what their bias is.

    Hey Honey,

The "words" can get out quickly and get bigger than your fleeting pleasure with that studly co-worker who already embellished his 3-some fantasy here, and all and lo and behold - your name and nastiness spread like wildfire. You see there are rather unintended and may I say nasty consequences to your sluttiness. Thought you would have learned that ways back in high school.

This thread was doomed from the beginning....just read the title lol. Anyone asking "Anything wrong with this company" is voluntarily opening a floodgate of negativity....quite obviously the vast majority of participants in this thread are going to be those who had a bad experience in one way, shape or form...in no way will you get an actual accurate idea of overall satisfaction.....of course every single company will have its shortcomings, but if you research Gene...you will find from multiple separate sources ...it gets overall very positive reviews as a place to work in the industry...this site is hilariously inaccurate...post this same question with ANY company and you will get similar responses...

Agreed. But being a veteran of GNE for many years let's not kid ourselves. Art & Sue left the building and much of the culture with them. We're hiring big pharma people who never would have been considered a few years ago and they're bringing in their bad habits. Plus, with the advent of biosimilars there's no way the culture can remain the same. It was a good gig, (and still is in many ways), but the continuity is threadbare from franchise to franchise. If you're considering working here just do your homework on direct management and individual pipeline.

This company was amazing when it was Genentech. Art and Sue put their heart and souls into doing great research, and making this company what it was. I was so fortunate to be part of that era. Now, it's just another big pharma. I'm ok with being downsized. I'm looking for another small company that has potential to grow. Good luck to everyone whether you stayed or moved on.

Scary, while not surprising, that nothing has changed -I was at GENE for 10 years working in Commercial, and finally had enough of the politics, ass kissers, and blue badges that advance only thru the good graces of higher-ups and not on their work product. Glad to be gone, and I don't miss one single thing about being there!

Field positions experience some of the same. Really too bad as talented people are leaving.
