Again this useless layer of management survives because Pharma thinks they need Regional Directors. No reason all ABL can't report to VP's. This is the only industry that has an extra layer of useless management. Maybe 1 or 2 good RBL's left. Sanofi had some good ones over the years but they've been downsized out. What is left is complete buffoonery. Have you seen these people at meetings?! Clueless , useless, finger pointers. Sanofi again just got weaker last weak. Look for this same excerise next year.

Really? Does it really matter who is an RBL?

All the more reason we don't need them. Most could fuckup a lemonade stand.

lol what exactly is this "good rbl" you speak of? I've never heard of such a thing.

I've never seen one who's worth their salary.

I've known some good ones over the years who fought for reps- questioned quotas and samples. There was some good ones. Maybe two left in the entire company.

you can always rehire Pauline D. Stocks in liquor futures would skyrocket; a few present and former managers would glee in delight

What was left are the worthless. Really pathetic group of tools. Sanofi leadership is terrible and the RBL's are a reflection of them. Incompetent !

The new management will bring in their people who will bring in their people and so on...repeat every 2 years. Our latest RBL was a dick, in a reps car all week and couldn't even pronounce "Basaglar" properly after 9 months. It's not "Basaglare" Dwayne.

It matters not. They all say the same thing: 8 calls per day, webcasts, flex events, whatever. It doesn't matter who delivers that message. And the ABL only matters to the extent that you have to spend a fair amount of time with them. Everyone takes their orders from stock holders and it all gets passed down to you. These jobs don't matter anymore. For all intents and purposes they don't even exist. That is why there is a flight out of PC pharma. Anyone that actually wants to have a real career is long gone to more lucrative ventures. I do feel bad for those of us that have to hang on a bit longer and for young people being duped into thinking this is the same job it was 20 years ago. It is clearly not.

LOL. Anyone have any insight on our new RBL coming to OH? I haven't heard anything good and I'm afraid we're in for another painful year.

RBL? Try the AVP level. Krish Tnight needs an instruction manual to get a glass of ice water. Complete imbecile. Have fun East Area.
