As I pack for this week in Nashville, I can't help but feel sad for all those empty seats we will see over the next few days, due to the struggles with our company. I read all these negative posts and simply wonder why the company just doesn't pay out the final 2017 bonus.

We all know that there will be so many jumping ship in March and by delaying this final bonus payout, it is just prolonging the unethical behavior of not doing what we are paid to do (work) and strengthening the poisonous attitudes that will affect us leading up to our next launch. Any glimmer of success or positive behaviors and attitudes we might need as an organization are truly being lost as each day goes by.

Please Senior Leadership, let's get those out that don't want to be here and bring those back that do.
Push up the payout date for bonuses and use the attrition we will see as an opportunity to get good people back.
I personally know of several committed Teva sales reps that would gladly be doing what I'm doing right now; packing for the meeting this next week in Nashville. God Bless to all our friends who have been pushed out the door.

The above post really makes sense. It might be a good idea.

Teva no longer exists. It was once a great company but anyone thinking it will ever be again is naive.
Those that are no longer here are actually the lucky ones. Leadership does not care what you think about bonus or anything else. The playbook is written and anyone hanging on after bonus payout isn’t very smart.

The most challenging part of this week will be to listen to the absolute disingenuous bs coming from stage. What would be awesome is for the Reps that are true leaders to not clap at all which will send a clear message. I would find it amusing if people booed but that won’t happen. A silent protest would be respectful. I am not planning on clapping at all. They will try to artificially generate claps through using patient stories etc. If you want to send a message like I am planning I implore all to not clap and make it uncomfortable for leadership on stage.

There are a number of us doing the same. No clap protest. No pun intended.

This hotel is a total dumpster. I really need to get out.

Don't clap and send a message

What message are you sending? You’d rather they spend lavishly on a hotel and keep everyone employed so you can feel better about yourself and how you’re treated. Times are changing and you either move forward or get out. That’s your decision. No clapping in protest to god knows what is pointless.

First off.....I thought the hotel was actually really nice...I don't know what you are expecting lol...but to the original poster....you sound like a very committed and respectable rep with a great work ethic...but unfortunately also very naive. The above response was correct....the Teva of old is no more and will never be again. It's a real shame but this company has been driven off a cliff! How could you think otherwise after seeing that laughable pipeline slide on stage? That pipeline is going to allow us to pay off 37B in debt? I think not lol...also, you asked that Teva move up the bonus payout so those of us who plan on jumping ship can get on with it? They did one better....they True-Downed our Copaxone?! WTF!? Wow....what a way to encourage mass Exodus...I get that the early generic caused Teva to pay out to insurance companies to stay advantaged....which resulted in "devalued" scripts...but how is that remotely the sales reps' faults? We still delivered quantity of TRx.. yet thousands of dollars are taken out of our bonus.....why would they choose to do this to their reps? It honestly doesn't account for a ton of savings to the company...it's a drop in the bucket...they could have put us at a cheaper hotel and prob saved the same amount lol...what a way to piss people off and drive them out quick...but then again, maybe that's what they want...

Well DUH! If Canadian lumber is taxed at a higher rate, lumber becomes more expensive in the US as the additional cost is passed on to the consumer. Econ 101. Similarly,if Copaxone brings in less dollars (due to rebating etc) to the company, of course it will be passed on to the rep with a decreased bonus. The company is in huge debt and is vulnerable. They "choose to do this to their reps" because they HAVE to. I think "take it or leave it" is appropriate instructions.

First off, why does everyone's replies here have to be rude and obnoxious? The poster you quoted and replied to had a very valid point...and doesn't deserve a "Duh"...I guess internet anonymity gives people an instant asshole card and imaginary cyber-muscles....anyway, I can agree with your rather obvious logic...but disagree that the company "HAS" to pass this cost on to the reps! Why do they HAVE to? Do they not see the value of retaining talent? I worked for Commercial Training and Development and trust me...new hires aren't cheap...and Teva CANNOT afford to hire new people if there's a mass Exodus. A new hire costs on average in excess of $200K the first year...you think the smart thing to do was to take money away from the sales force who earned it? I have a friend who started in January '17 in the shitter with Copaxone and worked her ass off to grow it to over 100%...now she's back to the low 90's and that's fair? You're telling me that Teva couldn't find ANY other way to recoup that cost and it HAD to be taken from the reps? You are flat out wrong...what they did is create a disgruntled sales force that will have no faith in their company and will either leave or become lazy and sit be 5% productive...yet still collect a check...Teva should be begging their talent to stay right now...because that's the only way Migraine will be successful and Migraine is Teva's slim but ONLY chance....

"Additional cost is passed on to the consumer". Um, so Teva NS field reps are supposed to be the "consumer"? LOL....I think not. As the previous person mentioned, there are multiple other areas the company could have gone to in order to recoup that Copaxone loss. Pissing off their sales people was not wise. The sales force is their most expensive and also most productive asset. Pissing them off takes away the productivity but the expense remains the same. Get it? Bad move Teva...

Please.... it was an example and if you can't make the correlation between the passing of costs and passing of loss revenue my bad for over estimating your intelligence. You just made a case for why they should reduce your bonus. "If I do't get what I want then I won't work". Again, Take it or Leave it. I would find it hard to imagine that another company would want you or your work ethic and attitude.

I am sure losing bonus dollars is the pits but you do understand that the new IC plan they sent out last week is going to pay you zero dollars going forward. ZERO. There will be no more bonuses now. 75% is based on company performance overall. This is the IC plan for the entire company and all levels, and every division. You will be working from here on out for your base salary only. You aren't upset about that?

I find the state of the company to be upsetting (or perhaps unfortunate is a more accurate term) and the IC change not surprising. Changing times, profits etc will change bonus pay out and number of employees etc. However, we watched the company get to this point. This did not happen over night. I still stand by Take it Or Leave it. I find it a bit odd that people "don't work" to punish a company as if that will solve or improve anything. If you are not going to work, I would boldly recommend leaving. I wonder if the reason why you are still here is because you are unable to find comparable work elsewhere? Just a thought, if you are interviewing your attitude and lack of work ethic most likely is coming through. Please do not be defensive, it may be the most helpful information you receive.

Relax bruh. I am not the same person posting about not working. I am interviewing and will be bouncing out of here shortly so no harm, no foul. I am sure most people are looking for almost anything else at this point. We all realize the company's attitude is FO, take it or leave it. We are all trying our best to leave it.

Maybe teva needs to get rid of crying, whining reps who have to go back down to a base in the low 90's. There are hundreds of reps that will do this job for less and get better results. What a bunch of arrogant, me first reps, you need to leave and find out maybe you had it good for a long time.

Pipe down pops. You have some anger issues that may need tending to. You don't own any guns do you? This company was run in to the ground by high paid idiots for years. No one with any prospects would come to a company 35 billion in debt that pays no bonus. You will get new entries or bottom feeders looking for a paycheck while they interview. No one is lining up to work here bruh. You said take it or leave it, that isn't a great selling strategy for new hires. You will have to lie your ass off to get any new hires here. This place won't even be here this time next year.

Post #17 Is not Take it or Leave it. That individual needs a diagnosis and treatment plan. As for me, I am not upset in the least and I would not use random name calling as a way to share my view point. (Inquiring about someone's intelligence based on a lack of understanding of Econ 101 will be called out.). I agree with you completely. No one is lining up to work here. No question about it. Again, the only point I was trying to make was not working will not help the situation, your colleague or even yourself. Threatening to leave or not work is juvenile.Take it or leave it.
