Everyone but legacy reps were given stock to stick around and that speaks volumes. Let the exodus begin.....

Are you serious? Is this with the year end reviews coming up?

If this is true it does speak volumes to what they are wanting with original hires.

If you think the RSUs given to Duzallo reps have anything about perceived performance or reward for loyalty you need to put the joint down. My guess is the company will be sold to Allergan within 12 months. They are trying to show some semblance of growth for this POS drug so the balance sheet looks a little better before it’s time to put “This House” on the market.

By their own words, they are running an “experiment” and most Duzallo territories are the “control variable.” It takes a while to find a job. Do the math. Don’t get caught with your pants down when the music stops

I agree with most of this. The one thing I disagree on is that RSM's and Duzallo leads were given RSU's and Linzess leads were not. The data Ironwood has been selling to Allergan, Exact, AZ and other companies is based on how effective the Linzess leads have been over time. When you reward everyone but the people that have busted their ass for you since the beginning, you're asking for a ton of turnover and a toxic culture. I don't think the higher ups care and thats a shame. That's not the culture or company we worked so hard to build.

Totally agree. It was a class-less move. The Novartis guys Peter trusted to lead the commercial team made sure they brought the toxic Novartis culture here.

So the Brand Lead.....sorry still can’t believe they call this a “Brand” gets promoted to VP and the gout reps all get RSUs......meanwhile Linzess reps are stuck making horrible quarterly bonuses even when hitting 115% of quota!?!?

This company sucks so much ass it’s ridiculous. Such a good ole boy club and promote shitty reps who just kiss ass.

The contract reps are part of a bigger pilot. If you’re not looking for a new job then you’re an idiot.

Correct. They even have a code name for this.

This is copycat what Amylin did years ago. Strip away the reps, replace with CSO’s, then sell the company at a higher premium. Ironwood has awarded too many options to their legacy employees and need to get them back before the buyout. Classic Amylin move going on here, right before they sold to BMS.

Seriously, IW 1,2 and three. Can this place become even more of a Novartis copycat company?
