    Sanofi is a hell hole.
Big pharma is a hot mess
Back in the late 80’s Pfizer and Merck hired tons of MBA’s to crunch numbers and they discovered a trend. There was a correlation between details and prescriptions. Thus was born the reach and frequency model.
Then these same MBA’s who never sold a thing determined they could analyze data and determine what should be said and who it should be told to. Biggest mistake big pharma ever made. Allowing these educated iodiots to guide sales.
The demise of the detail person ( politically correct)
Today marketing determines who we speak to, what we say and how often we say it.
Therefore if this does not work come December 2018, we should fire marketing

    What say you?

Sanofi is beyond repair . They embrace the 1980's sales models. POA's are rooms full of flipcharts - role -playing - grinders - hallway details. Funny thing happened though offices cut access back, less face time , 15 second details are the norm but Sanofi plods along with this ancient sales model of reach and frequency. And Sanofi management still stands in front of reps at meetings and uses words like Transparency , Culture , Awards for Performance. Meanwhile salaries haven't moved in a decade and the endless conference calls and admin creates no work life balance. What a mess.

Many reps not getting a raise for the 3rd year in a row, driving cars with 100k plus miles, and now new teams, doctors and territory realignment. Shit still stinks from the top up. HR can't even get it's crap together to send those that lost their jobs the severance packet in a timely manner. Had to pay for the return envelope myself. I've come to the conclusion that if you are now in Sanofi pc and are choosing to stay, you've got to be the most desperate m-fer out there. You've been beaten so badly by the mind numbing metrics that you don't realize there's life after this poop party. Godspeed friends.

Agreed. Dumb fucks. Worked for HMR in the 90s and idiots couldn't organize drug discovery units to be productive and our site gradually closed down after reorgs and experts told them how to do things. Remember Frank Douglas and his minions. They're all nice people with good intent but don't have a clue how to run a drug discovery company. The R part of R&D has to be running well for drug company to survive and unfortunately too many listen to MBA and Six Sigma experts who don't really understand how things work or risks of failure in each of the processes. Treat it like a factory to optimize and then expect things to miraculously work better.

This post is rich. Well said, comrade. PC has been driven into the ground. They are walking zombies. Desperate m-fers is an understatement. You must have no self worth to work here. They eat poop sandwich’s every day. Who wants more?
