Their choices for some management hires are questionable at best. Former J & J management track wanna bees. Need I say more?

    Did anyone get an offer?

I was not moved on. Frankly, I am stunned. I know I did a stellar job, not kidding here either.

And, no feedback from INVENTIV. No feedback from the hiring managers that I spoke with. Total cop out!! Not impressed at all with their process during or after the interviews. Phone screen with recruiter, territory assessment, HireVue Interview, personality assessment, 8+ hour day for face to face and ZERO feedback. Come on already! Total aholes!!!

It's because the Optigrab is making people go cross-eyed.

Sorry to hear you did not get moved on. Long process and only one position available. Regarding feedback, have you reached out to the recruiter? If you have and heard nothing, keep trying until you get an answer. If you haven’t reached out then maybe you should start there.

Optinose is a strange place. Management is mostly former J&J rejects who all think they are God's gift to Pharma. A lot of chiefs and very few Indians. Insane level of micromanagement and arrogance. Once they find a sucker buyer who will make the founders rich, everyone else will get tossed overboard.

Product will be a tough sell, a puffer filled with Flonase at 8x the price. Probably will not be around for long but in today's market you go where the work is.

Couldn't have said it better myself. J & J rejects to be sure. I recently read an interview with the CEO of Optinose. I skimmed through it, but was stopped dead by a comment he made that all hires are put to the "nice" test, and if they are not nice people, he will not hire them, as there are too many talented people out there that are nice to hire people that are not. He might be a business genius, but he is clearly not a psychology major. Narcissists and sociopaths seem "nice" to all that are not familiar with damaged people. As a side note, HR hiring 101 includes the most basic internet search prior to hiring to vet out those who are unsuitable. Clearly not happening there. A group of people who believe (incorrectly, I might add!) that they are gods gift to Pharma, greatly exaggerated opinions of self, lots of people who believe they should be overpaid for doing nothing other than sharing their deluded opinions. Given enough rope, they will hang themselves. Cheers.....

You nailed it, the CEO is also full of baloney and he is a major liar and hypocrite!

Which completely explains his choice for VP of IT...Birds of a feather!

this wont sell at all. no physician is going to write this when flonase is about 25 dollars at rite aid and walgreens and the coverage is maybe 65 percent and im sure MUCH more expensive. this might be the quickest contract in pharma history

Any thoughts on how long Optinose will be around?

This thread about Optinose is just so much fun because it is such a joke of a company trying so hard to actually make themselves believe they have something of value to offer to a certain patient population. I give them 12 months max.

What about the puffer driving the flonase way up into your brain to cure polyps?

It’s a job. Who cares how well the product launches? Collect a paycheck and if it sucks or there is any micromanaging, quit and leave it off your resume. Win win situation in my mind...

65 percent coverage for a product you can walk in cvs and pay 20 bucks? good luck!

There's a sucker born every minute....though I'm fairly certain that it is rather short sighted to depend on that for the success of your business....

    The investors have been duped.
The doctors may not be quite so easy.
